Oklahoma State lost to Virginia Tech 3-0.  Jasmin Harrell 5-H.  Courtney Liddle (single) scored on Froelich single; Rose scored on Mericka’s single; Compton scored on a sac fly by Spaw — all in the 4th inning, Tech had 3 singles, all in the 4th.
Oklahoma def Virginia Tech  10-0 (4).  Michelle Gascoigne and Kristen Allen limited the Hokies to 10 hits.  Bailey Liddle took the loss.  OU scored top 1st on Shults groundout.  Sooners scored 3 in 2nd on Vest rbi and Chamberlain 2-run homer.  After Shults doubled to open the 3rd, Sooners scored 4 runs.  Shults doubled in last 2 runs in 5th.
Tennessee 10, Illinois 7.  Vols racked 12 hits, including grand slam by Lauren Gibson (3-3, 5 rbi).  Shipman hit a back to back solo shot during the Vols 5-run 4th.  Dotson had 2 rbi; Brown and Lewis had 2 hits each.  Ivy Renfroe got thw W in relief of sister Ellen. Illinois led 4-in the 3rd.  Pepper Gay started for Illinois.  Jackie Due took the loss.
 California  def DePaul 2-0.  The afternoon belonged to Player of the Week Valerie Arioto, who pitched a 2-hitter and jacked 2 solo homers.  Hannah Penna took the loss.
 UCLA def UC Davis 7-1.  Jessica Hall defeated Jessica Thweat.  Carda and Harrison homered.  Harrison hit a solo in the 2-run 3rd.  Carda belted a solo in the 4th.  UC Davis scored in the bottom, on Ginnis double.  The Bruins scored 4 in thew 7thm two on Carda’s double.  Yudin drew a bases-loaded walk for the final run.
UCLA 4, Boise State 1.  WP Ally Carda.  LP Aubray Zell.  Bottom 1st: Schroeder singled; Fox reached on error; Harrison rbi groundout; Bates rbi single.  In UCLA 4th, Bates doubled, Camuso rbi single.  Bruins scored unearned run in 6th.  Boise State scored top 7th on Capobianco’s double.
Michigan 4, LIU 0.  Haylie Wagner pitched a 2-hitter.  Michigan scored bottom 2nd on Blanchard’s sac fly.  A run scored in the 5th on a wild pitch.  Wolverines scored top 6th on Lane’s 2-run homer.  Cassie Vondrak took the loss.
Louisville def East Carolina 5-0.  WP Caralisa Cornell.  LP Courtney Smith.  Cardinals had 11 hits, including 2-run triple by Austin and rbi single by Keller in 3rd.  Esteban had 4bi in 4th; Arion rbi single in 6rh.
 North Carolina def UTEP 7-6.  Tar Heels broke 6-6 tie with run bottom 7th.  Lori Spingola won – 14K.  Colleen Hohman was the loser. UTEP loaded bases top 1st, but Spingola struck out last 2 batters.  UNC scored 3 in bottom on rbi by Fokulks and Scarboro, and an error.  Afdter 2 strikewouts top 4th, UTEP scored 4 runs for the lead; Bases loaded; Wade rbi single; Troupe brought in 3 runs on a single and error.  UNC regained lead in bottom on Orr’s rbi walk, and Morrison sac fly.  Tar Heels cushioned lead on Walker’s rbi double in 5th.  UTEP regaineds top rung on Carrera’s 2-run homer top 6th.  Foulks, first batter up bottom 7th, homered down right field line. 
Louisville 2, Virginia 1.  Cardinals scored 2 runs bottom 7th.  WP Chelsea Leonard.  LP Rachel Gillen  Virginia broke scoring ice with Bowdren’s leadoff homer, top 5th.  Bottom 7th: Boles homered to tie.  Two out, Keller doubled in winning run.
 Louisiana-Lafayette def Northwestern 6-4.  WP Ashley Brignac (7K).  LP Amy Letourneau.  Wildcats loaded bases bottom 2nd; Allard scored on wild pitch.   Ragin Cajuns took 5-1 lead in 3rd; Orgeron homered to left center for 3 runs; Cormier followed with 2-run shot.  Both teams scored a single run in 4th.  Down 6-2, NU scored twice in 6th on rbi by Allard and Edwards.
Auburn 8, Oklahoma State (5).  Oklahoma State will probably slip down in national rankings after losses today to 2 unranked teams.  Tigers scored six runs in 5th eo end game.  Guzman, Jordan and Eisterhold homered.  WP Lauren Schmalz.  LP Kat Espinosa who gave up 11 hits,a d 8 earned runs.
 Florida def Michigan State 8-0 (5).  WP Hannah Rogers – 1 hitter.  LP Cassee Layne.  Gators, who pounded out 14 hits, scored in 1st; Fagan singled, scored an out later on Haeger’s single.  In 3rd. Moultrie singled, scored on Haeger SF.  In 4th, Gammel doubled; S Fagan 2-run double; M oultrie tripledp Haeger 2 run homer.  Gators reached run-rule in 5th; Medina singled, Fagan doubled in the winner.
Georgia def  UConn 8-1.  WP Erin Arevalo 2-hitter.  LP Ali Adelman.  Griffin walked, bottom 1st, stole 2nd, advanced on wild pitch, scored on Pauly single.  Huskies tied top 2nd on Vaughan’s solo shot.  Hubbard doubled, scored on error in bottom half to put Bulldogs back on top.  Georgia pulled away with 4-run 4th; Couey rbi single, Pauly bases-loaded 3-run single.  Paul hit a 2-run double in the 6th – five rbi’s on the day.
Missouri def Ball State 3-2.  WP Kristin Nottelmann; LP Audrey Workman. Tigers scored all runs in the 3rd, on Hudson rbi double, Fleming rbi single, and Roth rbi walk.  Ball State rallied in top 7th>  One out, Gilbert walked; Rager singled; Montalto walked; Nickel reached on fielding error in center, 2 runs scored.  Craft walked, but the last two batters struck out, stranding 3.
Missouri Troy 4-0
 Maryland 7, Michigan 3.  WP Kendra Knight.  LP Sara Driesenga.  The Terps outhit the Wolverines, 12-2.  UM drew first blood, scoring twice top 1st, on one hit.  Michigan stranded 2 in 1st, 2 more in 2nd.  Terps loaded bases in bottom 2nd, on 2 singles and an error.  Hanafin singled in 2 runs.  A thir run scored on an error.  Van Meter and McLaughlin singled in the Terps 3rd.  After a double steal, Hanafin singled in another run.  McLaughline scored on an error.  Michigan made 5 errors.  Knapp singled to lead the Michigan 4th, scored on an error, two more stranded.  scored pm Galindo’s single in 6th.  After Michigan left two more in the 6th, Maryland closed out the scoring on a homer by Maier.
Washington def San Diego 5-0.  WP Stanchek.  LP Coleman.  S B Walker.  Inglesby walked, scored on wild pitch in 1st.  Huskies scored 4 in 3rd.  Inglesby doubled; Lahners walked; Wright doubled in 2 runs.  Pohlman drove in Fagaly.
Arizona State def Central Michigan 7-0 . 
WP Hillary Bach; LP Chelsea Sundberg.  Boyd and Caparuscio homered.  Boyd scored on Freeman single top 1st.  In 3rd, Boyd jacked 2-run homer.  Caparuscio hit a 2-run homer in 5th.  ASU scored 2 unearned runs in 6th.  
 Arizona  def North Dakota 14-1 (5).  WP Babcock.  LP Gronseth.  Wilson opened Wildcat 1st with a double; scored on Spigner sac fly. Koria singled, rbi.  Pendley jacked 3-run homer.  UofA scored 5 more in 2nd; Wilson again led off with a double; one out, Del Ponte walked; Spigner rbi groundoutp; Del Ponte scored on wild pitch; Koria singled; Arriola hbp; again, Pendley smacked a 3-run homer.  Chewning scored on a wild pitch for NDU in 4th.  In bottom, Pendley doubled in two runs (8 on the day); Goodacre rbi; final run scored on error.  
Stanford def Bradley 3-2.  Teagan Gerhart 2-hitter.  Bottom 4th: Hansen singled, Rich tripled, rbi.  Rich scored on passed ball.  Basham tied game, top 6th, on 2-run single.  Cardinal scored in bottom on Schmidt’s one-out double.  Stanford leads Pacific 5-0 in 4th, Game 2.
 Alabama def Georgia Tech 12-9.  WP Traina.  LP Anderson.  Each team had 13 hits.  Bama scored 3 runs top 7th; Tech answered with 2.  Locke and Hunt homered for the Tide.
Georgia Tech 1, Oklahoma 0.  WP Hope Rush 3H.  LP Keilani Ricketts 2-hitter, 13 K.  4th inning was a disaster for Sooners.  Thomas hbp; advanced on wild pitch; Weseman walked; Rudnik reached on error at 3rd; bases loaded.  Rush sac fly rbi.  Weseman was picked off by Shults.  Bear struck out.  OU could not convert 3 hits and 4 walks.
