2-8-2013 Junior World Seedings Set by ISF

JUNIOR WORLD SEEDINGS

While USA Softball has not yet named a Junior World team, ISF today announced the seedings.  The USA Softball web site does not show a roster, and indicates that a date for a selection camp is to be determined.  Spy has been informed that a number of players have been evaluated and ASA official  sources say letters have been sent to some players inquiring about their availability.  In January, ASA responded to Spy: We have contacted players for the Jr. Women’s Team asking for their commitment to participate in the training and competition relative to the Jr. Women’s World Championships. Once the commitments are received the committee will select the team based on the availability of the players.
