Florida 1, UAB 0  Florida wins Super Regionals by a margin of two runs
WP Hannah Rogers  LP Lauren Webster.  Four hits each.  Gators scored top 4th.  One out, Haeger singled; Gammel in to run.  Horton struck out, Gammel stole 2nd.  Schwarz doubled to left center.  Lannah Campbell pitcher last three innings for UAB, an unranked team which upended UCLA in regionals, and played Florida hard, losing each game by a single run. The Blazers gave the Gators a scare bottom 7th; one out, Kimbrell doubled; Glynn pinch-runner; two out, Webster singled up the middle, Glynn took 3rd, out at home. Florida advances to play traditional foe SEC in the Women’s College World Series.

Oregon 4, Nebraska 3 (11)  Oregon forces what if game
WP Cheridan Hawkins.  LP Tatum Edwards.  Hawkins deserves kudoes for a magnificent relief effort, pitching 7 innings in relief of Jessica Moore, striking out 11, while giving up just two hits.  All errors hurt, the errors by both teams at critical points affected the game, but were not as devastating as the Ducks overwhelming 14 hits, or Hawkins almost 2 Ks per inning.  After Oregon stranded 2 top 1st, Tatum Edwards homered.  One out, Ducks’ 2nd, bases loaded, Lindvall scored when Takeda hit a fielder’s choice to short. Oregon 4th: Burger reached on an error but Takeda grounded into the first of three double plays.  NU 4th: Banda reached on an error and advanced to 2nd on a wild pitch; Thomason who had a grand slam lst night, singled, rbi.  Decker singled, went to 2nd on a Duck error, Thomason scored. That 3-1 margin held until the 6th. NU pulled another double play in the 4th.  After Edwards struck out two in the 5th, Hawkins relieved Moore and struck out the side.  One out, Ducks’ 6th, Lindvall homered.  NU 6th: Thomason doubled, no advance.  Top 7th: three outs from elimination, Oregon tied.  Ceo singled, a bunt to the catcher, and went to 2nd on the overthrow.   Howard grounded to 2nd, rbi. Tie game. One out, Pappas walked; Cuico singled; Peterson grounded into a double play. Hawkins struck out 2 of 3 in the bottom.  The Ducks stranded 2 in the 8th.  Nada in the 9th and 10th.  Ducks 11th: Takeda singled, stole 2nd; one out, Howard walked; Pappas singled, Takeda scored. The Lady Huskers went down in order.  Hawkins was masterful, but the Spy play of the game was made by Thomason in right field, raced to the wall to pick up a line drive by Howard in the 9th, and threw the batter out at 2nd.
Texas v4, Florida State 0
WP Blaire Luna 13K, No-hitter.  LP Lacey Waldrop 3R.  Monica Perry gave up the final run.  Texas posted 9 hits but the offense clicked in the 5th.  Scott led with a homer.  One out, Stephens doubled.  Stephens scored when Hoagland reached on a double.  Perry relieved Waldrop.  Hoagland and Thom scored.  Texas will face the winner of the Arizona State/Kentucky super regional.
Arizona State 5, Kentucky 2  ASU advances to Women’s College World Series
WPDallas Escobedo 4H, HR.  Kelsey Nunley HR.  Johnson opened the game with a single, stole 2nd, scored on Coyle’s single.  After ASU stranded 2 top 2nd, the Wildcats tied on Sagermann’s leadoff solo.  Coyle walked to lead the ASU 3rd, scored on Steele’s rbi single.  Once again, KU tied; Carroll walked, advanced on Samuel’s sacrifice, scored on Dill’s single, 2-2.  Top 5th, ASU took lead for good.  Johnson singled, Coyle walked, Freeman sacrificewd, Steele singled, rbi.  Kentucky stranded 2 bottom 6th. Top 7th: with Coyle on base (walk), Steele put icing on the cake with a 2-run homer, 4 rbi’s for the game.  Wildcats down in order.  ASU will face Texas at the WCWS.

Nebraska 4, Oregon 2  Nebraska wins super regional
WP Emily Lockman.  LP Jessica Moore.  Lockman making first appearance in NCAA tournament, Moore rested after being relieved in Game 2.T0p 1st: Huskers loaded bases on singles by Banda, Taylor Edwards and Thomason; two runs scored when Breault reached on an error at 2nd.  Oregon 1st: Takeda and Ceo singled, one out, Lindvall walked; Pappas 2 run single.  Top 3rd: two out, Breault singled, Decker doubled, Armstrong singled, rbi, 3-2 Nebraska. 

Bottom 3rd: Lindvall out on fly to center, spectacular diving catch by Stokes.  Pappas singled, stranded. Top 4th: Hawkins relieved Moore.  Top 6th: Decker led with double.  Armstrong reached on an error on her sac bunt;  Fowler singled to right, rbi; 4-2.  Ducks 6th: Costa singled; stranded. Takeda led Oregon 7th with a single.  Ceo forced Takeda at 2nd. Howard grounded into a game-ending double play, the fourth of the day.  Nebraska advances to play Washington in WCWS, Huskers first appearance since 2002.
