Bennett opened the game with a Texas HR, but UTA took the lead 2-1 in the bottom, on runs by Lyles and Hulme. Thrasher HR tied game 2-2 top 2nd. The teams fired blanks until the 10th. Texas stranded four runners in the three previous innings; UTA runners. In top 10th, ITB runner Craig advanced on Bennett’s sac b unt; Johnson rbi double; Johnson out at home on Taylor single. UTA lost their ITB runner on a fielder’s choice at 3rd; Luna struck out two, stranding the tying run.
