Ensley Gammel started for the Gators, givingup 2 runs, a bases-loaded walk in top 3rd, another run top 5th.  Florida took the lead in the bottom with 3 runs; a 2-run HR by Enea, an rbi double by DeFelic. Ole Miss tied top 7th, on Barnhill’s lead off homer; Brombacher struck out the side.  An rbi single and rbi double by Barnhill top 8th generated 3 runs.  Florida rallied Enea singled and scored on a sac fly with two out.

The top contenders for the SEC crown banged out 7 hits each.  Tailing 1-0 bottom 1st, Georgia vaulted into the lead on Hesson’s 3-run HR, and padded the lead with Schlopy’s solo in the 2nd.  Bama tied with 3 in he 3rd. The Tide went up one with Gibson’s leadoff HR in the 4th, only to see the game tied again on Wiggins’ rbi.  Bama took charge on Larsen’s 3-run shot in the 6th.
