WP Chelsea Thomas 2H, 10K.  LP Sarah Peterson. Bottom 1st; Crane scored on Hudson sac fly.  Tigers left bases loaded. Hudson hit 2-run homer in 3rd. Thomas held that 3-0 lead until top 7th when Fortner belted one-out homer.

WP Nicole Hudson.  LP Sarah Baldwin.  Earlywine wins #300.  Mizzou took lead bottom 2nd on Roth homer, but Evansville tied top3rd , Fortner scoring on Betancur 2-out single.  Evansville gained the lead briefly top 6th on rbi doubles by Malone and O’Connor.  Tigers rebounded with 3 in the bottom half; Hudson walked; Sykes singled; Roth singled, rbi, Evansville sent Patterson to the circle. Sykes scored on an error.  Two out, Rose scored winner on Randazzo’s rbi single.

#13 LSU def Nicholls State 8-0
WP Ashley Czechner1-hitter.  LSU scored all of its runs in the 1st.  The Tigers have defeated Nicholls State 26 consecutive games, dating to 1997.Simmons 2-run double created a 3-0 lead; Wray and Supak hit rbi singles; Blades a 2-run double; Guillory scored on a wild pitch.  The Tigers are 12-0 when scoring in the first inning.  LSU hosts #17 Kentucky for three games this weekend.
