— Tech’s fourth win in a row over TOP 25 Team.  Irish led 4-3, but bottom 6th, Anderson and Liddle homered.  WP Heinz.  ND pitcher Winter 5 runs, 9 hits.  Second game, Heinz again got the win in relief; Arizmendi homered for ND in each game.

— The Tigers let a pitching gem slip away in the last inning Friday, and the Gators had LSU on the ropes tonight but Czerchner, who gave up a 2-run homer with 2 out in the 7th to Tofft, struck out Fuller to ice the upset.  Rogers took the loss. Falcon had 2 rbi, an rbi double and homer. Wray one rbi.
Kentucky sweeps Missouri
— Game One: Ky 3-2.  WP Nunley.  Cumbess hit the game winning homer. LP Stangel. Game 2: Fagan extended a 14-game hitting streak.  WP Cumbess.  LP Stangel, in relief of Finucane. Sagerman (3run) and Stokes homered for Kentucky.  Samuel tripled in 8th and scored winning run on groundout.
