 Oklahoma 4,, DePaul 3 (8).  The Sooners scored top 1st thanks to a series of illegal pitches called against Brown.  Turang walked with one out; Shults drew a 2-out walk; Williams reached on an illegal pitch, Turang scored.  Ricketts yielded a single to Morocco leading off the bottom, then struck out the side.  Bottom 3rd: Ricketts was tagged by Plese for a single, and again struck out three.  Top 4th: Jones singled, advanced on a sac by McGregor, scored on Dobbs 2-run homer.  In bottom 5th, Mathews led with a home run, 3-1.  Blue Demons had 2 on, twoout, bottom 6th; Braget walked; Dodd bwat out a dribbler to Ricketts.  On a steal, OU catcher Shults threw the ball past 3rd, Braget scored, 3-2.  Dodd went to 3rd.  On a 2-2 count, Yniguez lined out to left.  DePaul now had 5 hits, to 3 for the Sooners.  With 2 out top 7th, Shults looked at a third strike.  Shults, who has 15 of OU’s 20 homers, walked twice, struck out twice.  Bottom 7th:  Mathew, who homered for the Blue Demons first run, was hbp, putting the tying run on base.  Ricketts, who was hitting 69-70mph, fanned Pinch hitter Warren.  Pinch hitter Morgan rached on an error by Dobbs at 2nd on a grounder.  Plese back in to run.  Morocco, who singled in the 1st, singled over 3rd, driving in Mathews with the tying run.  Ciezki struck out.  Verdun, 2 on, 2 out, fanned, sending the game into extra innings.  Both Sooner errors had hurt.  With Shults on 2nd, ITB, Williams ground to 2nd, Shults to 3rd.  Ricketts walked, advanced to 2nd, no play.  Jones, who singled earlier, walked, loading the bases.  Pinch hitter Hughes reached on a fielder’s choice, Shults safe at home, OU 4-3.  Dobbs, whose homer had built an OU lead and whose error jeopardized it, worked a 3-1 count , grounded to 3rd, fielder’s choice, Ricketts out at home.  Martinez ground to short, stranding three.  Verdun was placed on 2nd; Braget fanned. Dodd struck out.  Yniguez ground out.  OU had pulled one out.
Arizona State 5, Penn State 1.  Parlich hit 2-run homer in 1st.  ASU scored 2 unearned runs in 2nd.  Sovereign homered for Penn Statebottom 3rd.  Johnson scored final Sun Devil run (unearned).
Washington 10, Fresno State 0 (6).  Fresno State coach Margie Wright celebrated her NCAA D1 record 1400th win Tuesday night over Bradley.  But,there was no joy today in the Bulldogs contest with Washington.  The score was knotted 0-0  through 4 innings.  Top 5th, Inglesby belted a solo HR off Moses.  Hayward and Smith singled, Pohlman rbi single.  The Huskies expanded that 2-0 lead with 8 runs in the 6th.  Wright and Stuart were hbp; Ingelsby rbi single; Hayward reached on an error at short, the run scoring; Smith rbi single; Oakes relieved Moses.  Pohlman beat out an infield hit; Salling rbi; Williams singled in 2 runs; Wright walked, loading the bases; Fa’asua struck out; Stuart singled in 2 runs; pinch hitter Creger-Ziger singled; finally, Hayward hit into a fielder’s choice at short.  The Huskies now led 10-0, on 11 hits.  Bottom 6th: Fresno State went down in order.
Texas 11, DePaul 3 (5).  Blue Demons were stampeded by six-run  1st.  Hoagland and Washington singled; double steal; Hoagland scored on catcher error; Washington scored on passed ball; Hooks rbi single; Schmidt rbi single; Thom 2-run double.  Hoagland solo in 2-run 2nd.  DePaul 3 runs in 5th.
Michigan 1, Arizona State 0.  Scoreless through five innings; Taylor didn’t yield a hit until the 5th; Escobedo had given up 5 hits in that period. Michigan scored bottom 6th,  on a home run which bounced on the fence, just inside the left field foul pole, and bounded over for a home run.  Knapp followed with a single; Blanchard was hbp; Powers flied out to short; Doyle fanned. Donnenwirth raised Sun Devils hopes with a double to the fence, but was stranded.
Oklahoma 5, Arizona 2.  The Sooners, who would leave bases loaded three times, scored 2 top 1st.  With 2 out, Nix reached on an error; Shults walked; Williams doubled in 2 runs.  Dodd and Martinez opened the OU 2nd with one-out singles, but Jones flied out into a double play.  Meanwhile, lefty Gascoigne held off the Wildcats.  Nix led the OU 3rd with a double to center.  Fowler walked Shults and Williams on four pitches each, loading the bases, no outs.  But, Fowler retired three batters,two on strikes.  Dobbs and Martinez led the OU 4th with walks.   Jones beat our an infield hit, loaded again,no outs.  Nix drew a bases-loaded walk, rbi.Babcock relieved Fowler.  Shults grounded to Babcock for the force at home.  Williams lined out to Lastrapes, the runnner came home, but the umpire ruled the runner left early.  Twice the Sooners loaded the bases, and netted one run.  Top 5:  Rickettes walked, but the runner was caught stealing.  Norris walked, Dobbs singled, with two out, Martinez looked at a third strike.  Bottom 5th: the OU defense unraveled, just like the morning game.  Arriol reached on an error at short.  Buchanan grounded to 3rd, but Dobbs sailed the ball past 1st, and a run scored. A passed ball, and a second Wildcat scored, 3-2.  Kemp grounded to short.  With 2 out, Lastrapes fouled out to right.  OU had 7 hits to 1 for UofA, but only a one-run lead.  Top 6th:  Jones drew the eighth walk.  Nix the ninth.  Shults looked at a third strike.  Williams walked, loading the bases full of Sooners a third time.   Ricketts worked a 3-2 count, flied out to short.  Hughes, a slapper, flailed away and struck out, once again leaving bases loaded.  Chambers nailed a 2-out single, the pinch runner advanced on a passed ball,and went to 3rd when Shults tried for an out at 2nd and erred on the throw, but no score for Arizona. Top 7th:  Henson drew the 10th Oklahoma walk. Dobbs jakced a 2-run homer, 5-2.  The next three Sooners went down. Bottom 7th: Arriola walked; Oklahoma relieved Gascoigne, who had pitched one of the best games of her young career, and brought in Ricketts.  Buchanan struck out; Lavine singled; with 2 on, Kemp struck out.  Lastrapes up, the runners advanced on a passed ball, Lastrapes grounded to short, rbi;  Arriola scored; Henson tried for a play at 3rd, caught the trailing runner in a rundown, but failed to make the out.  Now, 2 on, two out, Schutzler struck out.  Oklahoma win, but once again suffered from errors (3).
Penn State 1, Fresno State 0.  After Fresno State left 2 on top 5th, Lisa Akamine’s rbi scored pinch runner Renwick.
Louisiana-Lafayette 5, Notre Dame 1.  The Irish scored in the 3rd; O’Connor walked; scored on Fleury single.  Eve on St Patrick’s Day, they couldn’t solve a Ragin Cajun named Ashley Brignac, who was pitching 68mph.  In the 4th, Bridges doubled, Orgeron jacked a home run; Cormier followed with a dinger, and ULL led 3-1.  The Cajuns scored two more in the 5th.  In the 6th, Laura Winter relieved Valdivia and struck out the side.  The Irish took 6 hits off Brignac, including a 7th inning single by Jorgensborg, but could not score.
Tennessee 7, Iowa 3.  Vols scored 3 in 1st on Gibson rbi, Spigner 2 rbi.  Gibson hit an rbi double in 2nd.  Iowa 4th:  Ochoa scored on Keim single.  Vols 4th:  Gibson rbi, Spigner 2 rbi. Iowa scored an unearned run in 5th, Schuelte homered in 6th.
Texas 12, Washington 0 (5).  Blaire Luna pitched a perfect game and toppled the Huskies from the unbeaten ranks.  Longhorns racked 13 hits.  The barrage began with Hooks 2-run homer in the 1st.  2nd: Luna struck out the side.  Bottom 2nd: Thom home run.  Clifton relieved Walker.  The Horns loaded the bases in the 3rd.  Hooks scored on Feight’s fielder’s choice.  Thoms singled, 2 rbi.  Bases loaded, Washington was hbp, rbi.  Bennett rbi.  A double play ut a temporary halt to the scoring, Texas left two.  Texas 4th: Taylor homered; Scott jacked a 3-run homer.  The Huskies had no answers in the 5th.
Arizona 10, ULL 2 (5).  Koria belted 3-run homer.  Del Ponte had 2-run double.
Michigan 5, CS Fullerton 2.  Stephanie Speierman vs Ari Cervantes.  Top 1st: Shaw 2-out double; Chidester 2-run homer.  Titans tied bottom 4th.  Cervantes forced Johnson who had singled.  Tsuchiyama walked.  Runners advanced on wild pitch.  Two runs scored on Martinez single.  Top 5th: UM broke tie with two unearned runs by Evans, Doyle.  Top 6th: Crummey scored on Knapp sac fly, 5-2.  Fullerton threatened in bottom half; two on, two out.  Michigan brought in ace Jordan Taylor who nailed the third out.  Doyle reached, one out, on error.  Two down, Sappingfield struck out.  Bottom 7th: Martinez hit back to Jordan in the circle.  Harris worked a 3-2 count, and was hbp.  Mario struck out.  Carter grpunded to 2nd.
