WP Keilani Ricketts.  4H,8K.  LP Tatum Edwards.  OU scored 7 runs in 5th to break 3-3 tie.  NU loaded bases top 3rd, but Ricketts fanned three.  In bottom, bases loaded, Shults rbi groundout, Ricketts 2-run single.  In 5th, Huskers again left bases loaded, in bottom, with 2 out, 2 on, Martinez rbi single; Parsons walked, reloading the bases, Turang rbi walk; Chamberlain 2-run single; Casey walke, Shults 2-run single, Bishop relieved Edwards.

#1 Oklahoma upset by Nebraska 1-0
WP Emily Lockman  LP Michelle Gascoigne.  Sooners first loss of the season.  Gascoigne yielded just 2 hits, but the key was Tatum Edwards solo to lead the 5th.  The Sooners banged out 7 hits, 2 by Chamberlain, but they had 2 on, 2 out in the 7th when Ricketts, one of the more powerful hitter/pitchers, looked at a third strike.  The Sooners, who stranded 10,  are 17-1, the Huskers 12-5.

WP Jackie Traina 3H, 9K. LP Smith.  Bama led 3-0, scored 3 in 6th on Richard solo, Hunt 2-run double.

#2 Alabama def St John’s 12-4 (6)
WP Lauren Sewell.  LP Tori Free.  Bama outSt John’s 15-5, mleading and 6-2 before scoring 6 in the 6th for the run-rule.  Burner and Marcelino homered for St John’s; Marcelino had 3 rbi on 2 hits.  Traina had 5 rbi on 2 hits inc a 3-run homer.

#3 Arizona State def East Carolina 13-0
WP Mackenzie Popescue 2H.  LP Courtney Smith.  ASU had 12 hits off the Pirates, who had four. Johnson hit two homers, had 5 rbi on 4-4 hitting.  Coyle had 2 rbi on 3-3 hitting; Girard had 3 rbi.

#3 Arizona State def North Carolina 7-4
WP Dallas Escobedo.  LP Lori Spingola.  TheTar Heels started off in good fashion, with Brown’s 2-run homer top 2nd.  The Sun Devils captured the lead, bottom 3rd, Freeman homered; Girard slashed an rbi single; Parlich doubled in 2 runs.  UNC tied the game on Kelly’s 2-run homer, top 4th, but the Sun Devils broke the tie on a sac fly in the bottom.  Parlich opened the ASU 6th with a dinger; Steele added an rbi single.  ASU is now 21-0.

#4 Florida def Drake 4-1.  No hitter
WP Hannah Rogers, no-hitter, 11K.  LP Jordan Gronwald.  Top 1st, Pierce led with a walk, with 2 outs, Randel struck out but reached 1st on a passed ball; Pierce stole home.  In the bottom, Toft drew an rbi walk; Damico homered to open the Gator 2nd; Drake reeliever Schmidt who had 11 Ks, struck out the side in the 3rdand 4th; but gave up a homer to Haeger in the Gator’ 2-run 5th.

WP Lisa Oniveros.  LP Lora Olson.  The Bears racked 9 runs on 6 hits top 2nd; 3-run homer by Jones, 2-run single by D. Henderson; a 3-run homer by J Henderson; and a solo shot by Ziegenhirt.

WP Jolene Henderson.  LP Cassandra Darrah.  Cal took 2-0 lead bottom 2nd on Alvarez double. and held that lead until the 6th when the nteams traded single runs.  Cal scored on Jones homer; Badgers scored on Massey’s rbi double.  Kostreba and D Henderson produced 2 more Cal runs in the 7th; Wisconsin answered with a 2-run single by Peace.

WP Kim Bruins 3H, 14K.  LP Lindsay Taylor 2H.  A string of aughts decorated the scoreboard until Grant led the Orange 6th with a solo shot.  Syracuse made 3 of its 6 errors in the 7th.  Schmidt and Kern reached on errors.  Schmidt scored the tying run on Smith’s sac fly.  Shireman reached on an error.  Hoagland walked. Kern scored the winning run on Washington’s sac fly.

WP Ally Carda.  LP Cassidy Coleman.  Carda won both of Saturday’s games.  Bruins tallied 3 top 1st, LaRosa 2-run homer.  In 5th, LaRosa singled in 2 of 5 runs.  UCLA now 16-2.

WP Carda.  LP Patton.  Boise State loaded bases top 8th; UCLA loaded bases bottom 9th.  Finally, in 11th, Carda placed on 2nd, advanced to 3rd on passed ball; with runners on the corners, Carda scored game winner on sac fly by Tiamalu.  Boise State scored a run top 1st on wild pitch by Hall; Bruins came back with 3 runs on Carda’s rbi walk; Moeai’s rbi single and an error.  BSU tied with 2 in 4th, Carda relieved Hall.  Boise State scored in 9th, Barnes on Bridges triple.  Sprawls scored on a wild pitch in 9th, but UCLA left bases loaded.

WP Ashley Czechner.  LP Jordan Wheatley.  Tigers led 6-1 when Lady Lions scored 4 in 5th.

WP Rachele Fico 10K.  LP Sara Driesenga.  UM took lead with 2 in  bottom 2nd, inc Doyle triple, but Tigers launched 6 runs top 3rd and led 10-2; Blades, Bell, Wray hit rbi singles, Kloss a 2-run single, a run scored on an error. Slight shift of momentum when Michigan scored 4 bottom 6th; , but Fico struck out the last three batters, stranding two.  Tigers reloaded, scored 4 more top 7th on Kloss grand slam. Kloss had 6 Tiger rbi’s inc homer on 2 hits; Falcon had 2 rbi on 3-3 hitting; Alcaraz had 2 rbi inc home run.  LSU improved to 17-3, Michigan dropped to 12-4.
