Fowler yielded one hit, but, after Cippoloni led the game with a walk, that hit was a one-out home run by Koren.  The Wildcats racked 7 hits, but couldn’t score until the 5th.  Lastrapes and Schutzler singled; Arredondo advanced both with a sac bun; Chambers lofted a sac fly, scoring Lastrapes.  DelPonte reached on an error at short, Fowler ground out to short.  Arriola led the Wildcat 6th with a single, but was stranded.  Schutzler led the UofA 7th, but was stranded.

James doubled, scored Cardinals 1st.  In 3rd, James scored, Wolny double.  Bottom 3rd: Longhorns loaded bases, Tqylor hbp, rbi.  Top 6th: Jordan scored on Wherry rbi.

A third coach was ejected, allegedly for objecting to illegal pitch calls.  After Orgeron’s rbi double in the Cajun 1st, the Titans racked 3.  Anderson singled, advanced on an illegal pitch, Johnson singled; Harrison doubled in two runs; Baldwin singled, rbi; advanced on illegal pitch; Cuevas notched 2K.  After ULL added a run on an error; Harrison singled in two more runs in the 2nd.  Bridges narrowed the gap with a homer in the 3rd, and ULL closed to 5-4 on Bridges rbi in the 4th.  But Harrison smacked a 3-run homer in the Titan’s half.  ULL closed to 8-6 with 2 runs top 5th.  CSF scored its final run on Anderson’s single in the 5th.

1st: Boyd, Donnenwirth walked, Loclwood and Carlson (rbi) singled.  Top 6th: Haro doubled in 2 runs.  Bottom: Rbi singles by Barr and Gingerich chased ASU starter Elliott.  After Parlich relieved, two more runners charged to Elliott scored on an error at 3rd. 4-3 Purdue.  ASU scored three top 7th.

Game looked like a potential UT runaway when the Vols scored 4 in bottom 2nd on Webb’s grand slam, and Burchell’s 2-run HR in 5th.  After Razey, Sandberg singled in top 6th, Hosfield relieved Renfro.Trout doubled in two runs.  Renfro came back in the 7th, and gave up Goler’s 2-run homer and  Auger’s game-tying rbi.
