TOP 25 GAMES
#2 Arizona State upset by #13 UCLA 3-2.
Escobedo fanned the first two Bruins, bottom 1st, but walked LaRosa and Carda homered.  Jessica Hall and her teammates kept ASU off the board until top 5th.  Girard led with a homer.  Two walks and an error by LaRosa at short loaded the bases; Steele drove in the tying run with a sac fly.  After Kemp hit a one-out single in the 6th, Carda relieved Hall; ASU was left with a runner on.  Bottom: Bates immediattely broke the tie with a lead off home run.  Johnson opened the ASU 7th with a double, nut Coyle and Freeman flied out amd Steele grounded out to end the game.
#3 Florida def Arkansas 8-0 (6)
WP Hannah Rogers 4H, 9K.  LP Kimmy Beasley. After Rogers fanned two of the first three batters, the Gators racked three runs on Haeger’s 2-run homer and Tofft’s rbi double.  Rogers struck out 2 of 3 again top 4th.  Bottom: Gators posted 2 more; two out, Merritt rbi single, Haeger rbi double. Arkansas stranded 2 top 6th, but Gators reached run-rule in bottom half.  Bases loaded, two out, Stewart scored wild pitch; Schwarz doubled in the two final runs.
#4 Texas A&M upset by #8 Tennessee 8-6.
WP Ivy Renfroe in relief.  LP Mel Dumezich. Tennessee rallied in the 6th on Chavannes 3-run homer, the second dinger given up by Dumezich.  The Aggies scored top 1st on a 1-out homer by May.  The Vols responded in the bottom with Shipman’s 2-run homer.  with 2 out in the 3rd on Dotson’s 2-run single.  Trailing 4-1 into the 5th, TAMU rallied; Albus doubled, May jacked a 2-run homer, her second; Dumezich homered, the Aggies led 5-4.  All four runs charged to Ellen Renfroe.  Ivt Renfroe relieved. Clopton walked, scored on an error, top 6th, 6-4 Aggies.  But, in the Bottom, Chavanne hit that 3-run homer.  Gibson followed wityh a single; Ainsley relieved Dumezich.  Vols loaded the bases but Brown hit into a double play.  The Aggies went down in order in the 7th, two on strikes.

WP Jolene Henderson 3H.  LP Mariah Ramirez.  Scoreless until bottom 5th when Cal scored all of its runs.  One out, Alvarez reached on an error; Taylor singled.  Amu relieved Ramirez.  Cordes singled, loading the bases. Decker singled, 2 rbi. Ziegenhirt singled, rbi. Ramirez returned to the circle. Danielle Henderson homered, 3 rbi. J Henderson struck out three of five batters in the 6th.

QP Jackie Traina. 3H, 11K.  LP Lexi Davis.  Scoreless until Bama scored 3, bottom 4th.  Two out, two on, Braud singled, rbi. Hays scored on an error. Braud scored on a wild pitch. Traina struck out the side in the 5th.  Bottom: Traina homered. Mavromat relieved Davis.  Bama stranded two.  Bama reached run-rule with 4 runs in the 6th.  McCleney and Hunt singled, rbi; Hunt singled, rbi; Lafaele rackewd a 2-run homer. One out, Spencer hit a walkoff homer to end the game.
#12 LSU def South Carolina 4-0
WP Rachelle Fico 3H, 7K.  LP Aubrey Broyles.  Two out, bottom 4th, Alcarez slugges 2-run homer.  Bottom 5th; Wray led with a double; Heyward singled; two out, Blades singled in both runners.  Fico struck out 3 of 5 batters in 2nd, stranding two.  Fico went to high counts on four batters in the 6th, but three were outs.

#14 Michigan def Purdue 9-0 (5)
WP Sara Driesenga.  LP Lilly Fecho. Romero jacked a 3-run homer, bottom 1st. Virgil scored in 2nd on Doyle’s fielder’s choice. Romero scored on an error, bottom 3rd; Blanchard slugged a 2-run homer for the run-rule.
#18 Tulsa def Texas Tech 5-1
WP Aimee Creger.  LP Cara Custer. Tulsa wins first game of Rebel Classic.  Tech scored bottom 1st on James rbi double.  Tulsa took lead on Cobb’s 2-run double in 3rd.  Hurricanes stretched lead with 3 runs in 4th.  Three singles loaded bases; Talley relieved Custer. Kerner scored on Everett’s groundout; Hughes scored on an illegal pitch.

#20 Nebraska vs Northwestern 5-4 (8)(DH)14-1
WP Tatum Edwards  LP Amy Letourneau.  Wildcats took early lead with 4 runs, top 2nd. With 2 out, Scharkey singled in 2 runs, Majam tripled in 2 runs.  Lead held until bottom 4th when Tatum Edwards doubled in 2 runs.  Bottom 6th, Huskers tied; Tatum Edwards doubled, Fowler homered. Bottom 8th; Fowler walked; one out, Armstrong walked. Two out, Banda walked, loading the bases. Taylor Edwards hbp, forcing in the winning run.
#21 Kentucky def Mississippi State 5-4 (10)
WP Kelsey Nunley  LP Stephanie Becker.  Teams were tied 4-all after 3 innings, and posted naughts until bottom 10th .  After Bulldogs left bases loaded in top, O”Brien led off the bottom and ended the game with a homer on a 1-1 count, her second dinger of the game.  Bulldogs scored 4 runs top 1st on two 2-run homers by Lenahan and Cooley.  Two out in the bottom, Joiner singled, O’Brien doubled, both scored on Carroll’s single.  Kentucky tied the game bottom 3rd on O’Brien’s 2 run homer.
#24 Georgia def Ole Miss 6-0
WP Geri Ann Glasco  LP Carly Hummel.  Glasco (4in) and Chelsea Wilkinson held Ole Miss to one hit.  Bulldogs scored bottom 1st on Wilson’s 2-run homer.  Glasco led 3rd with a solo.  After a double play cut down a runner, Sito homered. Brown singled in a third run.  Ole Miss stranded 2 runners in the 3rd and 2 more in the 6th.  Georgia added a run in the bottom on Glasco’s sac fly.
