Kentucky led 3-2 when Johnson led top 10th with a home run.  The Vols answered with two: Kajitani walked, Andrews reached on a pitcher error, Chavanne reached on another error by the pitcher (Kentucky made four errors), Kajitani scored the tying run on Grieve’s sac fly; Dotson singled in Andrews with the winner.

No suspense in second game; Vols led 6-0 after 4 innings.  After Kentucky stranded two top 1st, UT scored in bottom, Grieve singled, scored on Dotson single.  Bottom 3rd: Chavanne, Grieve, Dotson consecutive singles loaded bases.  Spigner rbi fielder’s choice.  Burchell’s one-out single scored two.  Dotson doubled in two runs in 4th.  O’Brien singled, scored the Kentucky run on error in 5th. Hosfield relieved Renfro to start 6th.  Vols added final run in bottom half; Chavanne scoring on Spigner sac  fly.

Langenfeld singled, scored on error in 2nd.  With two out in 3rd, M Harrison walked; DiSalvatore singled; Langenfeld homered. 4-0.  After the Bruins stranded two, top 5th, Cal Poly scored on Cary’s two-out solo HR. Macon relieved in the 7th; yielded a single, struck out Cahn to end game.

A walk to Tucker to open bottom 3rd, a sac bunt by Gegen, and walks to Wiginton and Burford loaded the bases for SHS. Tucker scored on Brown’s single; Wiginton on an error; Burford on Mikulin’s sac fly.  Baylor left bases loaded in the 4th, after losing two runners at home, Wiginton drove in Damian with the final run.

Baylor scored top 4th on Nieten HR; SHSU responded in bottom, loading bases, one out; Nowak scored on Damian out.  Baylor scored 3 in 5th, but left bases loaded in 7th.  Damian reached on a  Baylor error and scored with bases loaded on passed ball; tying runs left on base.

Cardinal scvored 5 in top 3rd, including 2-run double by Burns, rbi single by Hansen.  Koutz rbi single in 5th.  With bases loaded bottom 6th, reliever Chinn gave up a run to Axelson (hbp) and Castillo scored, wild pitch.  Gerhart came back to the circle.

Priebe started Tech’s hit parade with solo top 1st.  Tech added 6 runs in 2nd: Jordan homered, one out; Tech loaded the bases, one run scored when Kuzma reached on a fielder’s choice; Priebe jacked a grand slam, 5 rbi for the game. Houston scored unearned run, bottom 7th, but left bases loaded.

Lathan’s solo HR bottom 2nd gave Houston first lead.  Latrhan’s solo HR in 5th, 2-0.  Tech scored on Weseman’s 2-out HR in 6th.

No walk in the park for the Sooners from the outset.  OU scored 3 in the top 1st: Nix singled, Flores doubled with two out, Shults homered.  Tulsa came back with 2 in the bottom: Everett singled; Lindsay reached on a fielder’s choice, advancing on shortstop error. while forcing Everett.  Cobb singled, Bowen singled, Lindsay scored, Cobb scored on Vice single.  Two were left.  Tulsa tied in 3rd.  Lindsay, Cobb singled; Bowen reached on an error to load the bases; Vice singled, rbi.  Cobb out at home on grounder by Timmons; Bowen out at home on grounder by Stoelke.  Tulsa stranded three more.  OU 6th: Vandever led with a home run.  After Swanson and Everett opened the Tulsa 6th with singles (Gascoigne’s 11th), Ricketts relieved.  Everett scored the tying run on a single by Lindsay.  Tulsa stranded a runner, bottom 7th.  Oklahoma loaded the bases in the 8th.  Turang singled, Flores walked.  Vandever struck out; Shults forced Flores at 2nd; Jones walked filling the sacksd, but Dobbs struck out.  Schrock rose to the challenge top 9th, striking out Ricketts and Long, and, after Nix singled, striking out Turang.  Cobb led Tulsa with a double; Bowen doubled; Vice was given a pass to load the bases.  Timmons singled to right, Cobb scoring the winner.  Tulsa outhit Oklahoma15-6.
