WPCaralisa Connell.  LP Keilani Ricketts.  Connell limited the powerful Sooners to three hit, their only score a home run by Ricketts bottom 7th.  Ricketts fanned 11, but the Cardinals tagged her for 8 hits and five earned runs.  All five runs were scored in the top 4th.  One out, mRuckenbrod singled; Kiyohara hbp; rion singled, rbi; Fowler smacked a 2-run double; Soles singled, rbi.  5 runs on 5 hits.  Ricketts struck out three of the five Cards in the 1st; two of three in the 2nd and 3rd; one bad inning, but OU couldn’t solve Connell.
#1 Oklahoma run-ruled Louisville 9-1 (5)
WP Michelle Gascoigne 3-hitter.  LP Rachel LeCoq.  OU found its lumber, outhitting Louisville 7-3.  OU was aided, especially in the 4th, by Cardinal errors, 3 in the Sooners 2-run 4th.  OU scored bottom 2nd on Ricketts’ rbi double.Bottom 4th: Ricketts reached on an error at 2nd; one out, Ricketts advanced on another error at 2nd; Matinez reached on LeCoq’s throwing error, Ricketts scoring.  Vest doubled, rbi.  Louisville scored top 5th on Fowler’s first pitch homer.  In the bottom, Pendley walked on four pitches; Shults singled; Ricketts was given a four-pitch pass; loaded, Williams singled rbi.  Martinez singled 2 rbi.  Vest singled, loading the bases; Turang cleared the bases with a 3-run double, ending the game.  Oklahoma 28-2.  Louisville 26-5.

WP Hannah Rogers 3H.  LP Chelsea Cohen.  A lot of aughts for 6.5 innings.  Bottom 7th: two out, Horton slugged a walkoff home run.  31-3/7-2.  Arkansas 21-13/0-6
#4 Texas A&M upset by #8 Tennessee 8-6
WP Ivy Renfroe  LP Lauren Ainsley.  Top 1st, May walked, Morgan doubled, both scored unearned runs, wild pitch and error.  The Vols, who took the series, responded with Gibson’s one-out solo; Shipman singled, stole 2nd, went to 3rd on a passed ball; two out, Dotson walked, both scored on Brown’s single. Davis, who had a power night, belted a 2-run homer, Vols 5-2.  Top 2nd; Tysarczyk led with a walk; Garza reached on an error in center, Tyler singled, bases loaded. Two out, Morgan singled, rbi, Garza scored on a passed ball.  The Vols advantage grew to 7-4 in the 3rd. Two out, Brown and Davin singled; Akamine 2-run single; but the Vols left bases loaded.  Albus tripled and scored for TAMU.  Stark opened the Agggies 5th with a homer, 7-6.  Davin’s rbi single in the 6th closed the scoring.  Tennessee 26-6.  Texas A&M 26-4.

WP Jolene Hendeson  LP Naomi Amu.  The Bears rolled a natural, bottom 1st.  Cordes and Decker singled, Ziegenhirt jacked a 3-run homer.  Cal loaded the bases and Alvarez cleared them with a 3-run double; Alvarez scored the seventh run of the frame on Taylor’s single.  Utah scored four in the 5th, inc Mendenhall’s 2-run double, Dickman rbi single.  Undaunted, Cal scored in the bottom on Taylor’s single; Ramirez relieved Amu.  Cal added a final run on Ziegenhirt’s homer leading off bottom 6th..
#6 Alabama upset by Auburn 7-4
WP Marcy Harper  LP Leslie Jury.  Auburn snapped the Tide’s 18-game home winning streak.  Atypical 2nd inning; Aubrun left bases loaded, momentum swung to Bama which uncorked three runs: Spencer rbi single, Richard 2-run homer.  But the Tigers snatched the momentum back with a 5-run 3rd.  Carosone led with a solo; Lathan walked and scored with one out on Jrdan’s single; Stephens singled; Medina reached on an error at 3rd, but Jordan was caught at home. Stephens, Medina and Howard scored.  After 2 Auburn singles in the 6th, Traina relieved Jury but Auburn had another run.  Auburn scored its final tally on Caroson’s rbi double, top 7th.  Traina hit a solo for Bama.  Bama is now 28-3/5-2 SEC.  Auburn 20-12/1-6.

WP Chelsea Thomas 1-hitter.  LP Hope Rush.  Tigers scored 6 runs on 2 hits, bottom 2nd.  Two walks and Sykes double loaded bases; Genovese rbi ground out; Sykes scored on error; two out, Hudson walked, reloading bases; Randazzo jacked a grand slam.  Sykes doubled in 2 runs in 5th.

WP Blaire Luna 14K. 2H.  LP Whitney Canion 3H, 14K.  Horns scored 4 runs top 9th.  Eight scoreless innings with both pitchers throwing strikes. Top 9th: Ceo singled. Hoagland walked. Washington hbp, bases loaded. Stearns relieved Canion. Thom singled, rbi. Bruins drove in 2 runs.  Gametracker kept the fourth run a secret.

WP Cheridan Hawkins  LP Kelsey Stevens. Seven hits each, game decided bottom 7th on Pappas’ rbi double.  Cardinal took 2-0 lead top 2nd; Bonstrom singled, Roulund doubled; Bonstrom scored on wild pitch. Plaza singled, rbi.Stanford added a run top 4th on Roulund’s one-out homer. Bottom 4th: one out, Howard homered off starter Gerhart.  When Cuico doubled, Stevens relieved, and was immediately called for an illegal pitch.   A second illegal pitch allowed Cuico to score.  Bottom 5th: Sullivan walked, Burger singled, runners advanced on pitcher error; Takeda singled, rbi, tying the score.    But, Ducks left bases loaded.  Hawkins struck out the side, top 7th.  Bottom: One out, Takeda singled; two out, Cuico walked; Pappas slugged game-winning double. Oregon is 22-4/1-0 Pac 12.  Stanford 22-6/0-1.

WP Ashley CZechner 1-hitter. LP Katie Marks.  Successive pitching gems by the Tigers. LSU broke thru bottom 4th on Wray’s 2-run homer.  Tigers padded lead with 4 runs in 5th.  Bell smacked a 2-run homer; Wray blasted her second 2-run homer.

KU 7-0. WP Kelsey Nunley.  LP Stephanie Becker. Wildcats tagged Becker for 3 home runs: solo shot by Steed to lead bottom 1st; a 2-run blast by Steed in the 3rd; and a 2-run shot by Jolly in the 4th.  Cumbess and Gaines had rbi’s in the 6th.
