Northwestern 10, Nebraska 2 (5) — WP Wood.  LP Edwards.  Wildcats unleashed a steady barrage of eight hits and ten runs.  Allard ignited the Purple with 3-run triple in 2nd.Filler 4 hits, 5 rbi, including 3-run double in 3rd, and 2-run double in 4th. . LeBeau 2-run homer in 4th.  Northwestern 19-6; NU 21-11.

Minnesota 8, Illinois 4 — WP Moulton.  LP Needham. Gophers out hit the Illini 9-7, but made more of their strokes, scoring 5 runs in the 1st.  In the opening frame, Richardson rbi single, Groenewegen 2-run homer; Blanchette solo; Granger solo.  Richardson 2-run homer in 5th; LeMay solo shot in 6th, fifth MN dinger.  Perkins put Illini on boar with 2-run home in 6t; Evans scored unearned run in 7th.  Minnesota 25-4. Illinois 16-11.

Michigan 6, Penn State 0 — WP Wagner 1 Hitter. LP Jones. Wolverines scored 5 in 3rd.  Bases loaded, Romero 2-run single; Lawrence rbi single; Romero scored on steal; Susalia rbi; Blanchard rbi groundout in 7th.

Oklahoma 10, Iowa State 5 (5)
— Kady Self 3-3, 2 HRs, 5 rbi — 2-run HR in 3rd, 3-run homer in 4th. Shelby Pendley 4-run homer in 5th. Sooners 19th straight victory over Cyclones.

Auburn 7, Kentucky 6
— Trailing 5-0, Auburn tied game with 5 runs in 4th.  UK scored 3 in 1st; in 3rd, Cumbess and Steed homered.  Auburn broke tie in 5th; Cooper doubled, Melero homered.  Two ou in 7th, Gaines homered for UK, and two Wildcats walked, Jolly hbp loading the bases, but Stokes flied to center.

Missouri 8, Georgia 6
— Hugo and Swafford homered top 1st, 2-0 Georgia.  Tigers clawed back with 8-run 3rd including 2 homers by Genovese.  Fagan homered, 3 rbi; Randazzo scored on Sykes single; Rother slugged 2-run homer. Georgia scored in 4th but rally emded on double play.  Bulldogs pulled close in 6th; Wilson opened with HR; Puailoa doubled in 2 runs.  WP Finucane  LP Wilkinson

Alabama 9, LSU 1 (6)
— WP Traina  LP Corbello. Kloss homered to give LSU brief leaf; Spencer 2-run single in 3rd put Bama on top. After scoring 2 runs in 5th, the Tide hammered out the run-rule with 5 runs in 6th: McCleney homered; Hunt 2-run homer; Spencer went yard; Grantham rbi single ended game.

Tennessee 9, Florida 2
— WP Renfroe  LP Rogers.  Gators led 1-0 in 3rd when Merritt scored on error.  Vols took charge in bottom on Aldrete 3-run homer.  Gafin tripled and scored in 4th; Vols added 2 in 5th on Tarango homer; Aldrete provided final margin with 3-run homer in 6th.

Baylor 14, Texas Tech 1 (6)
— WP Canion 12K. LP Aucoin. Baylor was leading 8-1, scored 6 runs in 6th.  Cargill and Hosack each hit 2-run homer in 6th.

Arizona State 2, Arizona 1
— WP Escobedo (14-4) 16K.  LP Pinon (9-5).  Freeman jacked 2-run homer for Sun Devils in bottom 3rd.  Goodacre homered for Wildcats in 6th. ASU 31-5.  UofA 28-7.

Oklahoma State 0, Kansas 1
