The Tide went ahead in 5th when Lafaele scored on McCleney’s rbi groundout. Two out, bottom 6th, Aggies applied clincher with 2 out on Dumezich’s 2-run homer. Bama 30-5/6-4. TAMU 28-5/5-4.

Game 1: WP Holly Kern. LP Aicia Pille. Horns’ 16 runs a school record. Jayhawks took one run lead bottom 1st on Stein’s groundout rbi. KU added to that lead on M Hull’s 2-run double in the 2nd. Horns scored twice in 4th; Ogle’s double, and scoring on a wild pitch, 3-2. The sixth inning turned into a Longhorn stampede: 16 runs on 10 hits, inc bases loaded walk by Shireman, 2-run homer by Thoms, Scott scoring on a wild pitch, Bruins rbi walk, Ceo scoring on an illegal pitch, Shireman 2-run double, Scott 2-run single. WP Caralisa Connell, 11K. LP Lindsay Taylor.. Keller was 3-4 with a HR and 3 rbi. Syracuse scored a run in the 3rd on Watson’s 2-out double. Louisville scored 5 in bottom 5th. Fowler hit a 2-run shot, Wolny and Kiyohara had Rbi singles, Arion an rbi double. The Cards rached 8-1 on Keller’s 3-run blast in the 5th. Connell fanned the last 7 batters.
Syracuse upset #11 Louisville 4-2
WP Stacy Kuwik. LP Rachel LeCoq. Syracuse took a 2-0 lead in the 1st on singles by Ozannne and Wambold. Dombrowski’s 2-run dinger doubled the score in the 4th. Wolny’s 2-run double in the 6th narrowed the gap. Connell relieved in the 5th and fanned the first six batters she faced, and one more for 13 in the DH.
