— Michigan scored bottom 3rd; Doyle led with a double, scored on a throwing error.  Texas tied in the 6th on Stephens 2-out homer.  Bottom 6th: Sweet and Montemarano drew walks; 2 out, Doyle double in both runners.  Top 7th: Davis singled sharply to center; two out, pinch hitter Hanzel grounded to 1st. WP Wagner.  LP Davis.
San Jose State 1, Arizona State 10 (5)
— Sun Devil pitchers Popescue and Cooper held SJSU to 3 hits, while ASU racked 10 hits, including HRs by Johnson and Gonzales (3 runs), and a 3-run double by Steele. Johnson had 2 rbi.  SJSU scored bottom 5th; Meyer scored on Purdy’s rbi.  Lang took the loss, giving up 7 runs in 1.2 innings.
CS Fullerton lost to Nebraska 9-2
— WP Tatum Edwards  LPMonique Wesley.  Huskers scored 3 in 2nd, 3 in 3rd for control. Knighten 3 rbi, Urness and Muir two each.

— Wildcats scored 15 runs top 5th.  Goodacrehit a 2-run shot then a 3-run homer.  Fox had 3 rbi; Courtney Rodriguez 2 rbi; Kelsey Rodriguez had 2 singles, and an rbi.  WP Estela Pinon.

— UW took the lead in the 5th on Inglesby’s homer.  Bottom 7th: Taylor Edwards jacked a 2-run walkoff homer. WP Emily Lockman.
Houston vs Arizona
— Arizona had built a 3-1 lead into top 5th — Fox walked and scored in the 3rd; Wilson tripled and scored in the 4th on Fox’s rbi single; and scored in the 5th on Wilson’s single– but the Wildcats left bases loaded.   Kenzi Fowler relieved Michelle Floyd afterthree.  Fowler loaded the bases in the Houston 5th; of the 4 runs scored, one was on a sac fly, one on a passed ball, one on an error at short by Fox, and one on an actual hit by Holland.  Houston’s 5-3 lead was cut on a homer by Goodacre top 6th.  The Wildcats had out hit Houston 8 to 5 but entered top 7th trailing 5-4.  Mauge walked; Young sacrificed; Courtney Rodriguez at bat, the runner advanced to 3rd on a wild pitch; Rodriguez walked, runners at the corners; Wilson, who has a triple and single, singled to center, score tied 5-5.  Pinon fouled out to right, runners advancing.  Fox who has a single and double, walk and that dropped fly, lined to 2nd.  Bottom 7th: McKnight one-out single; two out, Edwards walked; Holland flied to center.  ITB, Fowler on 2nd; K Rodriguez sacrified; Goodacre walked; Mercado lined into a double play at 1st.  ITB Holland on 2nd. Two down, St Pierre worked a full count, walked.  Leadoff hitter Hernandez grounded to Fox at short.  ITB Mercado advanced on K Rodriguez deep fly and scored on Young’s sac fly. Wildats 6-5.  C Rodriguez flied to left center.  Bottom 9: ITB Hernandez on 2nd; Cullum fouled, caught by a diving Wilson; McKnight flied to left; Outon lined hard to Fox who threw a game-winning rope to Wilson at 1st.
