Penn state 8, Virginia Tech 7 (8)
Lady Lions led 6-1; Hokies scored 3 boyyom of 6th; Penn State scored run top 7th but Tech scored 3 to tie 7-7. PSU broke tie with a run in top 8th; Tech had no answer. Lisa Akamine winner in relief; Jasmin Harrell took loss in relief. With 2 out top 8th, Akamine scored go-ahead run on Renwick single. Froelich hit 3-run homer for Tech.

Missouri 14, Alcorn State 1 (5). WP Kristen Nottelmann. Alcorn State was overmatched against Tigers, who racked 12 hits and took advantage of four errors. Hay 3 rbi, Hudson 2 on home run.

Auburn 3, Louisiana Tech 0. Angel Bunner 1-hitter. Eisterhold doubled in 2 runs in 3rd, and singled in final run in 5th.

Tennessee 1, Florida 0. Ellen Renfroe notched 15 K as the Vols upset the Gators. Renfroe held the power hitting Gators to 3 hits. Thye win marked the ninth consecutive victory for Tennessee, and Florida’s first loss in the SEC. Burchell led off the bottom of the 7th with a hit; on 3rd with two down, a hit by Akamine bounced over the glove of pitcher Hannah Rogers; the throw from Medina to 1st was dropped and Burchell scored.

Alabama 3, Kentucky 1 (9). WP Jackie Traina. LP Chanda Bell. The Tide broke a 1-1 tie with back to back home runs top 9th by Hays and Conley.

oKLAHOMA eXPLODES FOR 27 RUNS IN tWO wINS.  Sooners defeat Wichita State 13-0, Indiana 14-0.  Both 5-inning games.  Against Wichitz State, Keilani Ricketts and Jessica Shults each hit two home runs.  Michelle Gascoigne was the winner.  gasint Indiana, Lauren Chamberlain hit two homers, and racked 7 rbi’s.  Georgia Casey also homered. WP Ricketts.

Stanford 13, Ole Miss 5 (5).  WP Teagan Gerhart.  LP Erinn Jayjphm.  Olr Miss scored 3 runs top 1st, answered by 2 frsom the Cardinal, who then ripped off 11 runs.  Hansen had 3 rbi; Schmidt and Burns 2 rbi each. Ladner hit a two-run shot for Ole Miss.

Mississippi State 5, Georgia 3.  WP Stephanie Becker 10K..  Georgia became the highest ranking team to lose at MSUI Softball Stadium.  RBI’s Shape, Gates and Offutt.

UCLA 9, Eastern Kentucky 1.  WP Jessica Hall.  Bates (3run) and Yudin homered.  Harrison drove in 2 runs, Fox 1.

Arizona State 6, Valparaiso 2.  WP Hillary Bach.  Dallas Escobedo relieved bottom 7th, 2 on, struck out last batter.  Lockwood and Caoaruscio homered.
