GAME NOTES
Tennessee 8, Radford 2. 
WP Ivy Renfroe.  LP Jackie Jenkins.  Trailing 2-0, the Vols scored eight runs in the 5th.  Top 5th: Lewis, Chavanne singled; Lewis scored on an error; Hosfield reached on error; Gibson jacked a 3-run homer.  Shipman, Dobson singled; Burchell walked, loading the bases.  Shipman scored on Brown’s rbi groundout.  Tarango smashed a 3-run homer.  8-2. 

Oregon State 4, Arizona State 2 (9).  WP Tina Andreana.  LP Dallas Escobedo.  A very big win for the Beavers.  Oregon State scored bottom 5th; Kutz doubled; with 2 out, Santana hbp; Beltran rbi single.  The Sun Devils took the lead 2-1 top 7th.  Haro singled; one out, Boyd doubled.  Johnson singled, rbi.  Lockwood reached on an error, Boyd scored go ahead run.  Bottom 7th, one out, Beltran homered off Escobedo, 2-2.  ASU stranded one in 8th, but OSU stranded 2.  Top 9th: two out, Lockwood reached on error, Caqporuscio singled, but Steele lined to short.  Bottom 9th: Gilmore walked, Sanatan jacked a 2-run walkoff homer.

Stanford 11, UCLA 9.  WP Teagan Gerhart.  LP Jessica Hall.  S Nyree White.  Back and forth.  UCLA scored 2 bottom 1st: Schroeder walked; LaRosa homered.  Top 2nd, Roulund walked, Becerra homered.  Rich slugged a 3-run homer to put Stanford up 5-2.  But, UCLA scored 5 in the bottom half; One out, Fox doubled; Yudin homered.  Carda and Snow walked, two out, LaRosa went yard for 3. 7-5 Bruins.  Top 5th, Stanford came back with three; Rich hit her second 3-run dinger.  Top 6th, White hit UCLA’s third 3-run homer, all off Gerhart.  After Camuso led the UCLA 6th, reaching on an error, and Fox doubled, White relieved Gerhart.  Two out, Snow singled, 2 rbi, 11-9.  LaRosa singled in the UCLA 7th but a double play and groundout ended the game.

Arizona 3, Utah 1.  WP Shelby Babcock.  LP Genarra Nielson.   After shutting out the Utes 8-0 in Game One, the Wildcats encountered stiffer opposition.  Arizona scored 2, bottom 2nd.  Koria opened with a home run; Arriola followed with a single, scored 3 batters later on Buchanan’s rbi fielder’s choice.  Fankhauser led the Utah 3rd with a homer.Arizona widened its lead a bit in the 5th, when DelPonte led with a homer.

UCLA 12, Stanford 4 (5).  WP Destiny Rodino.  LP Nyree White.  S Ally Carda.  Stanford scored top 1st on Hansen’s homer.  UCLA fired back with 3 runs in the bottom, 2 on a LaRosa homer, one on Bates homer.  Schroeder and Harrison singled in the 3rd; Bates walked, bases loaded; 2 runs scored on Camuso’s single.  Hansen jacked her second homer to open the 4th; Rich rbi triple, Roulund rbi single. Carda relieved Rodino.  Gap narrowed to 5-4 but UCLA added 3 runs in the bottom on Harrison’s 3-run shot.  UCLA reached the run-rule with 4 runs in the 5th, starting with Camuso’s solo.  Two out, Tu,alu and Snow singled; Schroeder singled, rbi; LaRosa capped the evening and ended the game with a 2-run single.
