#1 Oklahoma def Texas Tech 13-7
WP Keilani Ricketts 5H, 7K.  LP Cara Custer. Sooners posted 13 hits.  Chamberlain singled, scored top 1st.  Two out, Sooner 2md; Miller, Turang, Chamberlain consecutive singles; Casey 2-run double, Pendley 3-run shot, OU 5-0. OU scored a single run in 3rd. Tech notched 3 runs, bottom 4th; Williams doubled, scored with one out on Perez single, King slugged 2-run homer. Martinez scored on Miller sac fly in 5th; 8-3.  Chamberlain led the OU sixth with a solo shoy. Casey and Pendley walked; after 2 Ks, Parsons doubled in 2 runs. One out in Tech 6th, Miller relieved Ricketts and gave up 4 runs, three on King’s second homer.  Gascoigne relieved Miller. Kerry singled, Johnson walked, Cooper scored a fourth run on a fielder’s choice.  Pendley doubled in the 2 final runs for OU.  Tech down in order. OU 37-2/6-0. Tech 27-20/1-8.

WP Ellen Renfroe.  LP Lexi Davis.  Shipman had 3 rbi; Tarangoand Davin homered.  Vols 38-6.  Auburn 27-18.
#4 Florida def #19 Kentucky 6-3
WP Alyssa Bache  LP Lauren Cumbess S Lauren Haeger.  Nine hits each.  Gators’ Stewart opened game with a single, scored with one out on Haeger single; stranded two.  KU tied in bottom; Steed , after Stokres sacrifice, scored on Joiner rbi double. Schwarz led Gator 2nd with a solo shot. Fuller singled, scored with two out on Merritt two-out single. Tofft 2-run single in Gators 3rd, was matched by KU with 2 in bottom on Cumbess homer. 5-3.  Florida added run in 6th ; Schwarz tripled, scored with 2 out on Stewart single. Florida 41-5/14-4.  KU is 31-12/9-6.

WP Blaire Luna LP Riley Fisher.  Top 2nd, Torrescano scored for Cyclones on Cappaert’s fielder’s choice.  After ISU left two top 3rd, Horns scored 3 runs on rbi by Bruins, Schmidt and Scott.  ISU added a run in 4th on Slater single, but Horns added 3 more. Thom 2-run double  and Bruins rbi single. Thom doubled, scored on error in 6th.  Texas 37-4/7-0.  Iowa State 18-21/3-5.
#9 Missouri upset by Arkansas 11-10 (8).  Details to come on this hitters holiday; Missouri had 14 hits, Arkansas 11.  Arkansas pitchers gave up 11 walks, Missouri 7 passes; Mizzou also had 3 errors to 1 for Arkansas; there were 4 lead changes. Unranked Arkansas also won on Saturday, 4-1. Bottom 1st: Crane singled; two out, scored on Randazzo single, Tigers 1-0. Lady Backs Summerford and Wallace drew consecutive walks; Canfield safe on fielder’s choice, Oprzedek reached on an error, run scored, 1-1. Navarro singled rbi, 2-1. B3: Hudson and Randazzo walked; McLemore relieved starter Beasley; no advance. B4: Tigers stranded two.  Top 5th: Wallace walked, Hudson relieved Muller, Oprzedek homered, 4-1.  B5: Randazzo doubled with one out; Roth doubled, rbi; 4-2. B6: Rose singled, Kingsley hbp; Crane flied out, Marston singled, rbi; Randazzo walked, loading the bases; Beasley came back to hold a 4-2 lead, and walked Roth, rbi.  Marston scored on a wild pitch; Sykes walked, loading the bases but all three were stranded when Genovese grounded to short, but Mizzou had a 5-4 lead.  That quickly evaporated.  One out T7, Navarro homered.  Bronkey doubled, Schroeder (last of the four Schroeders to play D1 ball),walked, Geile jacked a 3-run shot, Wallace sac fly, Rambo scored the sixth run of this at-bat on a wild pitch.  Now Beasley had to protect a 10-5 lead.  One out, Kingsley singled to short; Crane singled, Marston rbi double, bases loaded, Randazzo drew an rbi walk; Roth, who has 12 homers, flied to right; two out, trailing 10-7, somewhere a fat blues singer in the Ozarks was looking for sheet music; but Sykes singled, rbi; bases still loaded, Genovese singled, 2 runs scored, new ball game at 10-all. Cohen relieved Beasley. Tigers left two.  Top 8th:Navarro reached on an error at 3rd;  Bronkey sac bunt, Schroeder singled, Navarro to 3rd and scored on a wild pitch.  B8: Kingsley and Crane singled; Marston walked, bases loaded. Hudson lined to 3rd, double play. Cousins walked, reloading the bases. but the heavy-hitting Roth flied to left.  Despite the walks and errors, there were some sparkling defensive plays.  This kind of game proves the value of TV, you see the close calls, the dropped flies, the pitches which seemed to find the corners which the umpires missed. WP Caralisa Connell.  LP Kiki Saveriano.  Rachel LeCoq started for the Cards; first two Huskies, Schiappa and Gifford, singled but were stranded.  Bottom 1st: Keller walked, scored on Wolny single.  Cards scored two out bottom 2nd: Mann rbi single, Keller rbi double. Top 4th: UConn racked 4 hits: O’Donnell doubled but was out at 3rd, Silva and Grinnell singled, two outs, Duclos singled, rbi. Connell relieved LeCoq.  Cards 5th: one out, Keller doubled, Trimble singled, rbi.  Two left.  Louisville 37-6.  UConn 17-19.
#11 Texas A&M upset by #14 LSU 10-2 (5)
WP Rachele Fico 2-hitter.  LP Mel Dumezich.  Super effort by Fico combined with a timely Tiger attack won the rubber match against the Aggies.  Both teams scored 2 runs in the 1st — TAMU on a 2-run homer by Morgan — but the Tigers clawed out a 7-run 4th, adding a run in the 5th.  Every Tiger starter had an rbi, and Falcon had a 2-run homer.  LSU 35-9/11-4.  Texas A&M 34-9/6-8.
#12 Michigan def Michigan State 11-2 (6)/DH 8-7 (8)
WP Haylie Wagner  LP Dani Goranson.  Close for four innings; eaach team scored a single run in the 1st, and each team scored a single run in the 4th. The next two innings belonged to the Wolverines. Top 5th: Susalla and Doyle hit rbi singles; then Romero jacked a grand slam.  UM capped its 15 hit attack with 3 in the 6th.  Susalla led with a solo.  Four batters later, Lane slugged a 2-run single. UM 34-7/11-0.  MSU 21-16/7-3.  Game 2: Blanchard rbi single top 8th.
#16 Baylor def Oklahoma State 5-2
WP Whitney Canion LP Kat Espinosa.  Cowgirls went up 2-0 in 3rd. Baylor 4th: Shelton, Thumann singled; two out, Shelton scored on wild pitch.  Shelton led Bears 6th with triple, Thumann walked, Holl brought both home with a double; Freeman relieved Espinosa; Strickland laid down an rbi bunt for the fourth run, 5-3.  Baylor 33-10.  Oklahoma State 24-20.

Game 1: WP Monica Perry.  LP Melanie Mitchell. Scoreless until bottom 4th; FSU O’Brien led with a homer. Top 5th: two Seminole errors enabled Cavaliers to tie.  One out, Velk reached on error at 1st. Two out, Velk stole 3rd, scored on throwing error by catcher. Top 6th: Bowden singled, Harris sacificed. Skinkis singled, Bowdren scored on groundout to take brief lead. FSU 6th: two out, Bullock singled, Austin doubled, rbi, 2-2.  Velk and McGinlry singled with one out, top 7th.  Perry relieved starter Lexi Waldrop. Williams hit into double play. FSU also got 2 singles in the bottom, Hoffner and East, no advance.  UVA 8th: 2 out, Skinkis walked, Chapdelaine singled, stranded.  FSU 8th: O’Brien singled, Bullock bunt single, Austin singled in the winning run.  Florida State 32-14. Virginia 18-20
