WP Cheyenne Tarango,  LP Shivaun Landeros.  Vols scored one bottom 1st, then unloaded for 6 in the 2nd.  Brown rbi double, Overstreet 2-run single, Dobson rbi single, Gibson jacked a 2-run homer.  Chavanne singled in 2 runs bottom 3rd.

WP Lauren Sewell 1-hitter  LP Beth Dietrich. Tide scored 11 runs on 9 hits, starting with 4 bottom 1st. one in the 2nd; 2 in the 3rd, and 4 in the 4th, the latter including a solo shot by Patterson and a 2-run homer by Spencer.
#9 Michigan def Indiana 4-0 (9)/DH
WP Sara Driesenga in relief.  LP Brooke Boetjer.  Haylie Wagner started for UM and was cruising on a 4-0 lead until the Hoosiers scored 4 runs bottom 6th.  The visiting Wolverines scored a run top 2nd; Lawrence singled, Knapp reached on an error ay 3rd; one out, Sweet singled, rbi. Two out UM 3rd; Lane homered. Lawrence walked, Knapp singled, Driesenga walked, bases loaded, Sweet singled in 2 runs.  Bottom 6th: One out, Boetjer singled, Huber singled, pinch runner Conenna to 2nd; Dotson singled, loading the sacks; two out, Haber walked, rbi; Brannon singled, rbi; Driesenga relieved Wagner with bases loaded; Wagner singled, UM-Indiana were tied 4-all. Bottom 9th: Dotson singled; Michigab’s unbeaten streak in BigTen was at stake; Driesenga struck out the next three batters. T9: Doyle singled, Sappingfield  reached on an error/sac at 1st, Romero singled, rbi, Doyle scored;. Blanchard singled, rbi, Sappingfield scored; Romero scored the third run.  Wagner walked but the next three Hoosiers went down.  Michigan 36-7/13-0.  Indiana 19-24/3-10.
Game 2: Michigan leads 4-0 after two innings//cancelled rain
Spy note:  First time Spy has watched BTN games.  Good camera work; refreshingly, the announcers didn’t overcoach the coaches.
