Maryland 3, North Carolina State 0.  Terps scored all runs bottom 5th.  One out, Galindo tripled; Hanafin rbi single; two out, Branson 2-run home run.  Maryland 28-12/6-3.  NC State 20-20/2-10.
 Tennessee 7,   LSU 2.  Vols complete sweep of LSU.    Tennessee 38-6/15-4.  LSU 26-15/8-9.   Renfroe struck out the side in the 1st, three of 12 Ks. 
Scoreless until Vols 4th; Gibson singled, Spigner walked, both advanced on Davis sac, Gibson picked off 3rd; Shipman singled, rbi.  Tigers tied in 5th, Boulet scored on Trosclair single to pitcher.  Gibson was hbp (helmet) to start 6th; Spigner singled; Davin reached on error at 2nd, Gibson scored.  Shipman singled, rbi.  Grieve rbi grounder, 3-1.  Santos doubled to lead LSU but was out at 3rd on fielder’s choice.  Top 7th: Burchell doubled; Fico relieved Mack.  Gibson walked.  Davisn reached on error at 1st, Burchell scored.  Anderson singled; two runs scored on throwing error by left fielder.  The three Tiger errors hurt, but they rallied in the 7th.  Russell singled, but the pinch runner was forced by Trosclair.  Heyward walked; Shaw looked at a third strike; Santos singled, rbi.  Young hbp but Langoni struck out, leaving the bases loaded. LSU had previously stranded 2 in the 4th.  Two interference calls stymied the Tigers in the 5th, the umpire ruling the batters were out of the box.
 Texas 6, Iowa State 1.  Horns complete sweep,remain unbeaten in Big 12; improve to 37-4/9-0.  Iowa State 19-19/17-8.  Shortstop Thom headlined the Texas attack, with a solo homer, 2 singles, 2 stolen bases, and 3 runs scored.  Horns scored 2 in 1st; Washington singled, Bennett walked; back-to-back singles by Taylor and Schmidt generated the runs.  In the 2nd, Thom singled, scored on Washington’s triple.  Thom homered in the 4th; Bruins rbi single in 6th capped Texas scoring.  Iowa State’s Cole scored in 5th on Johnson’s double.
Alabama 5, Mississippi State 2.  Crimson Tide improved to 41-5/15-4.  MSU is 21-24/8-11.  Dunne is 20-2.  Bama was leading 2-1 when Locke homered bottom 4th.  The lead grew when Dawson hit a 2-run shot in the 6th.  Bulldogs loaded bases top 7th; Lenahan scored on Bell’s groundout.  MSU left 2 runners in scoring position.
Arizona 6, Washington 1.  The Wildcats, like several teams adjusting lineups for omcreased run production, scored twice, bottom 1st; Schutzler and Buchanan led off with singles, advanced on a wild pitch; Lastrapes walked, loading the bases; Del Ponte walked, rbi.  Arriola sac fly, rbi.  The Wildcats loaded the bases again in the 3rd; Bryan rbi single; Schutzler walked, rbi.  Lastrapes led the Arizona 4th with a solo.  Bottom 6th: Chambers drove a 2-1 pitch over left field.  UW rallied top 7th; Stuart and Jones singled; one out, Wagner was hbp to load the bases.  Two out, Hayward rbi single.  Pohlman grounded out.  Arizona is now 36-8/6-2.  Wasyhington 30-6/5-3.
Michigan 9,  Illinois 7.  Wolverines scored five top 1st, Blanchard 2-run single, Ryan 3-run homer.  The Illini responded with 3 runs; Zymkowitz led off with a walk; Pinchback singled;  Hackett rbi single; Pinchback scored on wild pitch; Hackett advanced.  Payne relieved Speierman.  Davis solo homer. 5-3.  UM went back on the attack; Doyle singled to start the 2nd; Evans doubled, Shaw walked; UM scored 3 including Ryan rbi walk.  Guy homered to lead the Illinois 4th.  Ryan scored on Evans single in UM 5th.  9-4.  Illinois added 2 in bottom, including Wedel rbi double.  Michigan left bases loaded, top 7th.  In bottom, Pinchback led off with a home run, but no more.  Michigan 39-3.  Illinois 19-17.
 Notre Dame 4, Louisville 3.  Top 1st: Cardinals scored firs t run, Keller led game with single, scored with one out on Bemis double.  Irish  2nd: Fleury led with a walk, scored with one out on Jorgensborg single; two out, Pitzenberger singled, rbi.  Louisville scored 2 on Keller homer top 3rd to retake lead;  Irish tied in bottom on Johnson homer.  Irish scored what proved to be the winning run in the 4th; one out, O’Connor walked; two out, Maldonado tripled.  Louisville is 31-13/9-4.  Notre Dame 31-7/7-0.
Michigan 8,  Illinois 6.  Chidester and Lane homered for Michigan, both off Jackie Guy. Davis went yard for Illinois.
 Georgia Tech 3, North Carolina 2. Big day for Ashley Thomas, 3-4 with 2 rbi, and walkoff single to win it. 
Texas A&M 5,  Nebraska 1. 
Aggies now 33-11/ Nebraska 31-8.  TAMU broke 1-1 tie with 3 in 4th.
Louisville 9, Notre Dame 6.  Irish won first game, and seemed headed for a sweep, but Cardinals overcame six-run deficit, scoring 9 runs in the 6th, handing the Irish their first loss in Big East.  Cards 6th: Kiyohara opened with a single; Keller doubled; one out, Bemis blasted a 3-run homer.  Wherry followed with a solo shot.  Wolny singled; Kiyohara singled in 2 runs.  Keller jacked a 2-run homer.  When the smoke cleared, Loukisville was 32-13/10-4.  Notre Dame 31-8/7-1.
Stanford 3, Oregon State 1. Cardinal scored 2 bottom 1st, Miller rbi single, Rich rbi sac fly.  Beavers closed gap in  Beltran doubled, pinch runner Bouska scored on Roderfeld sac fly.  Stanford 5th: Hanewich scored on Miller single.  Stanford 30-8/5-4,  Oregon State 18-16/1-8.
Missouri 1, Oklahoma 0 (11).   Applaud Thomas and Ricketts; these sturdy young athletes pitched 9 innings in the Saturday night barn-burner and 11 more today.  Tigers accomplished sweep of Sooners with one out in 11th; Vock singled; Marston looked ay a third strike; Hudson singled, Vock scored the winner.  The Tigers are 35-5, and firmly in second Big 12.  Oklahoma is 33-13.  Missouri outhit OU 12-6, and at points the game revolved around Missouri threatening and Oklahoma thwarting; however, both teams had scoring opportunities in this nationally-televised game.  Shults singled top 1st,but Thomas struck out the side; she had 17Ks, Ricketts 13; they combined for 33 the night before.  Marston singled, stranded.  Mizzou loaded bases in 2nd; on 2 walks and hit batter, but Marston looked at a third strike.  Thomas struck out the side in the OU 3rd, and 2 of 3 in the 4th, when Nix singled.  The first 2 Sooners struck out in the 5th, but Williams doubled, Turang reached on an error at short; Martinez lined out, stranding both.  Missouri also stranded 2 in 5th.  Jones opened the Sooner 6th with a single, but Shults hit into a double play.  The Tigers had a run called back bottom 6th.  Bases loaded on singles by Krebs and Taylor, a walk by Christopher; Vock singled, but Christopher was called out for interference.  Marston struck out, stranding three.  OU had a runner on in the 7th, one out, but Thomas fanned Norris and Williams.  Ricketts fanned 2 of 3 in the bottom, extra innings.  Martinez singled, Shults walked, giving the Sooners 2 on with 2 out in the 8th, but the rally died on a fielder’s choice.  One out in the bottom, Krebs and Taylor singled; Ricketts struck out Christopher and Vock.  Hudson and Fleming singled in the Tigers 9th; Ruggeberg hit into a double play.  OU went down in order in the 10th and 11th.   Then Vock and Miller combined for the winner. 
Arizona State 5, UCLA 0.  ASU now 39-5/6-3, while defending national champion UCLA is 29-9/5-4.  Escobedo is 19-3.  Urfer belted 2 homers.
Florida 13, Auburn 4 (6).  Paculba slugged 2 homers, 3 rbi; Bruder 3-4, 2 rbi, a homer; Schutte 2 homers, 3 rbi; DeFelice and Fagan hit solo shots.
