Top 1st, on eout, Hanewich walked, Hansen hbp, two out, Rich safe on fielder’s choice, Hanewich scored on error at short. Prong singled, 2 rbi. Becerra opened the Cardinal 2nd with a solo. Gerhart singled, stole 2nd; Hassman singled, Gerhart scored on Hanewich sac fly. Rich scored final Stanford run in 3rd on Becerra groundout. Pacific scored bottom 4th; Fogelsong singled, Matson doubled, with 2 out, Rivers singled, rbi. Stanford 31-8. Pacific 27-15.
Texas 8, UT Arlington 0 (6). Courtney Craig blasts 2 home runs, 4 rbis. Horns scored 6 runs bottom 1st on three dingers. Hagland singled but was caught stealing; Washington homered; Thom walked, stole 2nd; Hooks homered. Taylor and Schmidt walked, Craig jacked 3-run homer. Luna gave up a single to Rowan in the 3rd, but struck out the side. In bottom, Craig hit solo homer. Wahington singled, scored bottom 6th on Taylor single, to reach run-rule. Texas is 38-4, UTA is 29.17.
Tennessee 9, Radford 1 (6). Vools racked 15 hits to 4 for Radford. Bottom 2nd: Burchell doubled, Gibson singled, rbi; Spigner singled, rbi; Davin singled, rbi. With 2 out, top 4th, Radford scored; N Beall scored on Madden single. Vols came back with 2 in bottom; Gibson tripled, scored on Spigner single. Kelley relieved Dameron. Davin singled, but pinch runner Lewis out at 2nd. Shipman single, rbi. Hammond reached on a fielder’s choice, but Shipman was out, interference. Hammond scored on Chavanne single.
