Sun Devils scored 4 bottom 1st.  Boyd doubled with one out; Donnenwirth singled; Lockwood fielder’s choice, Boyd out at home 4-2; Castillo rbi single; Parlich 2-run triple; Parlich scored on illegal pitch.  Wildcats stranded 2 in 2nd; ASU added two runs, Boyd, Donnenwirth rbi singles.  Schutzler scored on Chambers double in 3rd for the UofA score.  Sun Devils racked 5 runs bottom 4th.  Urfer doubled; with two out, Rogers doubled, rbi; Bo7yd singled, rbi; after Donnenwirth walked, Ralston relieved Akamine.  Lockwood jacked a 3-run home run.  First time ASU has run-ruled Arizona.

Stanford scored two on Haber’s double in bottom 2nd.  Cal 3rd: Kelly walked, J Reid reached on fielder’s choice, Kelly scored on Thomas single, but Reid was out at home on fielder’s choice.  Cardinal boosted lead with three runs in 5th.  Hassman singled; with two out, Rich rbi double; Koplitz rbi double; Arioto relieved Henderson.  Burns reached on error at short, Koplitz scoring final run.

With two on in 2nd, Gibson rbi; with bases loaded, Chavanane rbi, 2-0.  Vols 3 runs in 3rd: Huff sac bunt, Gibson 2-run double.  Gamecocks got one back in bottom on Mendes double.  Leading 5-1, Vols added 3 in 4th; and reached run-rule in 5th on Grieve rbi single.  Tennessee 26-7; 7-3.  South Carolina 10-23, 0-13.

Stephanie Brewer drove in right fielder Tori Mort with a sacrifice fly in the eighth to give the Razorbacks a 3-2 extra-inning victory in the first game of the doubleheader while the offense exploded for 10 runs on 10 hits in the nightcap to claim a 10-5 win. Arkansas (24-12) has now won 15 of its last 19 games and will be looking to complete the three-game sweep of Georgia when the two teams return to action with a single game Saturday. First pitch is scheduled for 11 a.m. CDT.  Georgia (25-8, 5-6 SEC) falls for only the fifth and sixth times at home this season, having entered the series with an 18-4 record at UGA Softball Stadium

Wildcats are 22-14, 7-8.  Bulldogs are 20-18, 2-9.

The Tide gave Dunne all the support needed top 3rd when Larsen slugged a one-out grand slam.  Lunceford homered to lead off the Bama 6th; in the bottom, the Tigers scored on A Harrison’s double, but Guzman and Smiley were put out at home.  Bama 25-9, 8-4.  Auburn 20-13, 6-7.
