WP Jolene Henderson.  LP Estela Pinon.  Danielle Henderson opened the Cal 2nd with a solo, the first of four dingers given up by Pinon.  Arizona tied bottom 4th on Rodriguez’ rbi double.  Jones 1-ouy homer top 5th put Cal back in the leadwhich the Bears expanded with 3 runs top 6th, on Ziegenhirt’s 2-run homer, followed immediately by Jolene Henderson’s solo.The Wildcats took one back on Rodriguez’ homer bottom 6th.  Arizona quashed one Cal scoring effort top 7th with a double play but the Bears added a final run on Vonk’s rbi double.Cal 28-3/4-0.  Arizona 23-12/3-4.
Game 2: California 5, Arizona 1.  Bears broke 1-1 tie with 4-run 5th.
$5 Tennessee def Tennessee State 19-1 (5)
WQP Erin Gabriel 4H,7K, LP Shea Morris.  S Ellen Renfroe. Leading 4-1 – Gabriel yielded 2 singles top 4th, the last an rbi by Haynes with the Vols leading 4-0 but Gabriel was pulled and Renfroe relieved with 2 out — the Vols scored 15 runs bottom 4th.  Consecutive singles by Overstreet, Lewis, Chavanne and Dotson, bases loaded plus an error, yielded 3 runs. Shipman slugged a 3-run homer; an rbi walk followed by another error whcih generated 3 runs, Shipman jacked a second 3-run homer, and Davin smacked a 2-run homer.

WP Lauren Sewell.  LP Tiffany Harbin. S Leslie Jury.  After JSU scored a run top 2nd, Ruth rbi;, the Tide scored five in the bottom: McCleney 2-run single; Braud rbi  single; Braud and McCleney scored on an error.  Martinez 2-out rbi single in JSU 3rd and Borden’s rbi single in the 4th ended the scoring for JSU, 5-3.  Jury relieved. Bottom 4th: Traina rbi single, Spencer 3-run homer. Traina’s 2-out, 2-run single bottom 5th ended the game on a run-rule.

WP Teagan Gerhart 3H.  LP Marina Demore.  Cardinal scored twice top 1st, Bonstrom 2-run single. Top 4th: Schaberg and Schmidt scored on a throwing error in right field; Wells rbi single.  Stanford added 2 in 7th, Hanewich rbi double, Miller sac fly.
Game Two: Stanford 8, Oregon State 6.

WP Kaitlin Inglesby 4H. LP Ally Carda 1H.  Carda gave up just one hit — a home run by Lahners top 5th.  UCLA stranded 4 runners.
Game 2: Washington 5, UCLA 4 (9). WP Bryana Walker.  LP Jessica Hall. UW top 9th: two out, Hayward doubled, Taukeiaho doubled, rbi.
