Missouri 7, Saint Louis 4. Two outs, top 1st, Tigers scored 4 runsHudson on an error; Krebs rbi single, Schweisberge 2-run double. Dockins doubled and scored in bottom on error. Marston walked, scored on Hudson double in 2nd. St Louis narrowed lead to 5-4 on Faletto 3-run homer in 3rd. Tigers put game away with 2 runs top 7th.
LSU 7, Auburn 3. Tigers, who left bases loaded top 1st, took control with 5-run 3rd. Shaw reached on an error by Schmalz (Auburn made 3 errors), stole 2nd; Santos doubled, rbi; Young hbp; Langoni slugged 3-run homer; Wray homered. Heyward singled, scored on Langoni single in 4th. Auburn, which stranded 2 in the 12st, got on the board in the 5th. Colton singled, White homered. After LSU left 2 more in 6th, Auburn’s Guzman scored on White’s single, 6-3. LSU added a final run in 7th; Russell walked, stole 2nd, Guillory scored on catcher throwing error.
Michigan 5, Penn State 4. The Lady Lions pushed #1 Michigan – hard. Penn State led 3-2 after three, and were tied 4-4 after dix, but the Wolverines broke the tie in the 7th. UM scored twice top 3rd, rbi’s by Shaw (single) and Lane (sac fly). Penn State took lead with 3 runs in bottom. Rossi and Ostman led with singles; with 2 out, Johnson homered. Michigan scored 2, top 6th, but Penn State tied with run in bottom; Johnson singled and scored with 2 out on Yao single. One out, top 7th, Chidester homered on first pitch. Bottom: Taylor struck out Rossi, Ostman; Ball grounded out.
LSU 1, Auburn 0. Fico, who retired 12 of the first 14 batters, carried a no-hitter into the 4th. The only run was scored in the 1st; Santos doubled, scored on Langoni’s single. LSU is 28-15/10-9. Auburn is 32-14/11-11.
