WP Karli Merlich 2 hitter.  LP Kat Espinosa
Ward homered top 2nd for Cowgirl 1-0 lead, but Tech came back with 3, bottom 4th.  Kenney doubled, scored on Bledsoe single; Hall homered.  Tech added a run bottom 6th; Drewry singled, scored with one out on Bledsoe single.  Double-play ended the frame.

The Cowgirls out hit the Raiders 5-4 but had only aughts on their board.  Tech bottom 3rd: one out, Richardson singled, advanced on wild pitch; Clemmons walked, Legler drove in Richardson; Drewry walked, loading the bases, Kenney reached on a fielder’s choice and Clemmons scored, Legler scored on the throwing error by the pitcher; Bledsoe fielder’s choice, Drewry out at home.  Palmer scored on Clemmons single in the 4th.  Tech closed out the scoring in the 5th on Kenney’s 2-run homer.  Oklahoma State 40-8, 9-1.  Texas Tech 32-12, 4-8.

The Irish rallied to tie the Blue Demons with 3 runs top 7th, but fell on Shea Warren’s bases-loaded rbi single.  Warren was the Notre Dame nemesis earlier.  The Irish led 2-0, top 3rd, when DePaul scored 6 runs, two on Yniquez double, followed by a Warren grand slam.  The Irish cut the lead in half top 4th when Fleury doubled, scored on Lux double. Brown relieved Lindsay Dean to pitch the 5th.  Top 7th, trailing 6-3, Notre Dame got one back on Pitzenberger’s double, then tied on Johnson’s 2-run double.  DePaul stranded two bottom 7th.  Miller walked to open the Irish 8th but was stranded.  In the bottom, Yniquez singled with one out, Heteniak walked on four pitches, Dodd singled loading the bases.  Thompson flied out but Warren racked the first pitch up the middle for the win. 
Notre Dame 35-8, 12-2.  DePaul 25-12, 9-3.

A week ago, the Irish were undefeated in Big East; now, after the sweep,  Notre Dame is 10-3, and resurgent DePaul is 12-3.  The Blue Demons outhit the  Irish 16-4.  The carnage began bottom 2nd when DePaul recorded 9 runs.  Heteniak singled, Dodd fought off nine pitches and singled; pinch runner Shizas scored on Thompson’s groundout; Warren doubled, Ciezki singled in two runs; Morocco singled, Plese singled loading the bases; a fielding error at short plated a run; Morocco scored on Yniguez’ groundout; back to the top, Heteniak was intentionally walked; Dodd singled rbi, Thompson drew a bases-loaded rbi walk; Bowe relieved O’Donnell; Warren hbp/rbi; Ciezki walked/rbi; Morocco grounded out.  DePaul 9 runs, 7 hits, 1 error, 3 left.  The Irish got one back top 3rd Maldonado singled, scored on Fleury double.  DePaul went on the attack again in the 4th: Consecutive singles by Thompson, Warren, Ciezki and Morocco yielded one run and loaded the bases for Kelly who relieved Bowe.  Braget singled, Warren scoered but Ciezki was out at home.  Voss hbp; Morocco scored on Yniguez sac fly.  This time Notre Dame pitched to Heteniak, and she jacked a 3-run homer.  Dodd doubled, and O’Donnell returned to the Irish circle, Matthews grounded out, but DePaul had 6 runs on 7 hits, leading 15-1.  Notre Dame closed out the scoring, top 5th,  when Jorgensborg homered.

After a double-play snuffed a Loyola threat top 3rd, the Wildcats took a brief 1-0 lead when Allard scored on Pauly’s single.  L-C responded with two top 4th on Grim’s two-run blast.  Spears scored an insurance run top 6th on Lally’s rbi single.  NU scored bottom 7th on Kelly Dyer’s home run.
