  WP Keilani Ricketts.  LP Chelsea Thomas. The error prone Sooners won the split series, behind another pace-setting performance by Keilani Ricketts, who had 11 KsThe win gave OU its 6th series win, and Ricketts her 16th double-digit strikeout game.  Bottom 1st:  Martinez led with a single; stole 2nd, and scored on Ricketts single through the right side.  Shults laced her seventh double of the season in the OU 2nd; pinch runner Parson advanced on Turang’s single, and scored on Henson’s single.  Although OU had bases loaded, they did not score again.  The Tigers lone run came in the 3rd, enabled by 2 of the Sooners 3 errors: Genovese reached when Turang could not catch a fly ball to right.Advxancing to 3rd on a wild pitch, Genovese scorfed on Sykes rbi single.

California 10, Oregon 0 (6).  The Bears won the third game of the series.  In the 3rd, J Reid tripled and scored on a groundout.Starter Jessica Moore issued 3 walks, loading the bases, and was replaced by Karissa Hovinga, who gave up a 2-run double to Danielle Henderson and an rbi single to Jolene Henderson.  Cal used three homers to score 5 runs in the 6th. Decker and Kostreba each hit a 2-run homer, sandwiched around a solo shot by Valerie Arioto.  Jolene Henderson registered her 11th shutout.

Mississippi State 3, Kentucky 2.  With the sweep, the Bulldogs clinched a berth in the SEC tournament.  Cooley scored from 1st on a Smith double for the walkoff win.

Tennessee 6, South Carolina 3.  The Vols won their 13th straight game, and reached 40 wins for the 10th consecutive season.  Top 2nd: Burchell and Davin scored on Andrews single.  Andrews had 4 rbi.  The Gamecocks scored in the 3rd on Hathorn’s double.  The 5th belonged to the Vols.  Burchell hit a 2-run homer; Andrews followed with her first homer of the season, a 2-run shot, Vols 6-1.  In the USC 6th, Hawkins doubled and Childs belted a 2-run homer.  Ellen Renfroe won with relief by Ivy Renfroe.

Oregon State 3, Washington 2.  WP Tina Andreana.  LP Bryana Walker.  The Beavers won the series with the Huskies.  UW scored top 1st; Pohlman singled, scored on Williams single.  OSU scored its 3 runs bottom 2nd.  Hall doubled; Kutz homered.  Two out, Bouska walked; stole 2nd, advanced on a wild pitch, and scored on Santana’s single.  After Wright walked in the UW 4th, pinch runner Bellusci scored on an error after Gano singled.  UW had just 3 baserunners the remainder of the game.

Arizona State 7, Stanford 0.  WP Hillary Bach.  LP Teagan Gerhart.  While the Cardinal had 6 hits to 8 for the Sun Devils, their was not as productive.  ASU belted 3 homers in winning its third consecutive home series sweep.  ASU scored 3 runs, bottom 1st; Johnson slugged a 2-run shot, Caporuscio a solo.  The game was quiet until the Sun Devils scored 2 in the 5th on Boyd’s 2-run dinger.  In the 6th; Haro singled and Ketchum scored on a passed ball; then, Haro scored on Johnson’s groundout.  Escobedo relieved Bach in the 7th; Stanford left bases loaded.

UCLA 9, Utah 1 (6).  WP Jessica Hall.  LP Mariah Ramirez.  The Bruins have won eight of their last nine games.  LaRosa and Bates homered, bottom 1st. After Harrison singled in a run in the 2nd, Nielson relieved Martinez.  Utah scored top 4th, pinch runner Bowles scoring on Dickman’s single; the Utes left 2 on base.  In the bottom, Snow and a batter later LaRosa walked; Harrison crushed a 3-run home run.  The Utes again stranded 2 runners in the 5th; in the bottom, Snow and LaRosa singled; one out, LaRosa was forced at 2nd by Harrison.  Bates walked, loading the bases; Camuso and Yudin drew an rbi walks.  The Bruins reached run-rule in the 6th.  One out, Snow reached on an error; Schroeder doubled; Snow scored on LaRosa’s sac fly (line drive).

Louisiana-Lafayette 9, Florida Atlantic 1.  WP Ashley Brignac.  LP Paige Pinder.  Bottom 1st: Smith singled; Orgeron jacked a 2-run homer.  Top 4th: Stovall scored for FAU on Ballard’s single.  Murphy singled, scored on a passed ball; Myers cracked a solo in the 4th.  Leading 4-1, the Cajuns added 3 in the 5th on Comier’s 3-run shot.  The Cajuns closed out the scoring with 2 runs in the 6th, both on errors.

Texas 5, Oklahoma State 1.  WP Blaire Luna.  LP Simone Freeman.  The Horns scored four unearned runs in the second inning.
