Del Ponte hits fifth grand slam of year, 7 rbi.  Wildcats 10-hit attack began top 1st; Lastrapes led game with single; Arredondo and Chambers singled, loading bases.  Lastrapes scored on wild pitch.  DelPonte lined to 2nd, Arredondo out at home.  Del Ponte hit her grand slam in 4rd, then jacked a 3-run shot in the 5th.

Huskies outhit Beavers 12-2. Both teams scored in 1st, OSU Cavestany doubled, scored on Lowe single; UW Pohlman walked, scored on Wright single.  Huskies scored twice in 2nd; with two out, Fleischman singled, stole 2nd, scored on Pohlman single, Salling singled, Williams rbi single.  Up 3-1, the Huskies racked 10 runs in the 3rd.  Lawrie singled, scored on error; Fleischman rbi single, Pohlman rbi walk; Salling rbi walk; Williams rbi walk; Wright 2-run single, Lawrie nailed her second single of the inning; Fagaly jacked 3-run homer.  Washington 38-5.  Oregon State 22-25.

The Ducks got in the first lick, Bryhant’s homer in top 1st.  UCLA took lead with two runs, bottom 2nd, Camuso singled, Shull homered.  Ducks led 4-2 after scoring 3 runs, top 3rd; with bases loaded, Pappas drew rbi walk; Kivett rbi single; Vitek rbi single. Lanfenfeld relieved Donna Kerr.  Bottom 5th, Bruins found their bats, scoring six runs.  Yudin opened with a double; Moore relieved Rumfelt; Camuso and Shull walked; bases loaded, Bates rbi single, DiSalvatore rbi single; with two out, Langenfeld singled in two runs; A Harrison singled, Skillingstad relieved Moore; DiSalvatore and Langenfeld scored on a throwing error.  8-4.  UCLA had scored 6 runs on 5 hits, two errors.  the Bruins pushed the score to 11-4 with three runs bottom 6th.  Bases loaded, two out, Langenfeld cleared the sacks with a 3-run double (5 rbi).  Trailing 11-4, the Ducks’ Pappas walked with two out, but ended the game on a pop-up.

ASU 3rd: Rogers hbp, Haro sac, Boyd singled rbi.  ASU 6th: Urger home run.  ASU 7th: Rogers led with triple, scored on Boyd rbi single. Koplitz doubled in Stanford 1st.

The Tigers entered the bottom of the sixth inning trailing 3-1, but a Courtney Hollier solo home run cut the Bulldog lead to 3-2 with only one out. A walk to Jessica Mouse chased Georgia starting pitcher Sarah McCloud from the game.  Kirsten Shortridge and Ashley Applegate ripped back-to-back singles to load the bases off UGA reliever Alison Owen. A Rachel Mitchell sacrifice fly to deep center scored Mouse and tied the game up at 3-3 and moved Shortridge and Applegate into scoring position. Ashley Langoni was hit by a pitch to re-load the bases. The Tigers then took the lead in dramatic fashion when Shortridge stole home. Back-to-back walks to Young and Santos added another run and gave the Tigers a 5-3 advantage.Rachele Fico (17-4) earned the victory for the Tigers allowing no runs on only two hits in 4.2 innings of relief. Owen received the loss for the Bulldogs in game one.

Error in left field led to three-run 3rd inning for Bulldogs.  Tigers rallied for two runs in 7th but game ended with tying run on 2nd.  LSU 41-11, 19-6.  Georgia 41-10, 18-8.

Kentucky pushed the Wolverines — hard, Michigan scored all five runs in the bottom of the 6th after trailing 4-0.  Top 3rd: Dill singled, stole 2nd; Johnson singled; Dill scored on Smith groundout.  In 6th: Kentucky pushed lead to 4-0, Johnson singled, Yocke singled with one out, Cervantes hit a two-out, two run double.  Auld singled, rbi.  Trailing, UM’s big bats turned the tide.  Evans led with a triple, scored on throwing error; with one out, Viefhaus doubled, St Clair homered.  Shaw walked; Chidester hbp; Nemitz slugged a 2-run double for the lead.  Nemitz pitched the 7th, striking out two.  UM 39-6.  UK 29-22.
