STARKVILLE, Miss. – Norco High School (Calif.) held steady atop the USA Today/NFCA High School Top 25 poll on Thursday when the Association released its rankings. The Cougars played only one game this week defeating Centennial (Calif.) to improve their undefeated record to 14-0.

Holding firm at second this week was Estrella Foothills (Ariz.), which is still undefeated at 23-0, and was followed in third by Niceville (Fla.), at 19-1, which moved up one spot from last week. Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport LA in my opinion should be receiving some votes for the top 25 in the nation. At 22-4 with 2 one run losses to no. 13 Hahnville( 3-2 and 1-0 ) and a 1-0 loss to #3 5a West Monroe and 1-0 loss to no.1 in 4a Vanderbilt Catholic, Evangel with a highly recruited D1 pitcher is as formidable the as any ranked 15-25
