Two out, Boccia hbp; Hall singled, Locke singled, rbi; Lunceford singled, 2 rbi; Dawson singled, 2 rbi. Bottom 5th: Fico, who beat Bama on Saturday, relieved Mack. Braud scored final run on Fenton’s sac fly. Bama 37-2 (14-2). LSU 29-10 (11-3).
Tennessee 6, Auburn 2. scored 2 top 1st on back to back homers by Shipman and Gibson off Schmalz. Top 3rd: Gibson doubled; Mavromat relieved Schmalz. Shipman homered again, 2 rbi. Baker scored the final Vols run on Akamine’s sac fly. Auburn scored both runs bottom 7th on Schulte’s homer. .
Florida 14, Ole Miss 3 (5). WP Alyssa Bache. LP Kendall Bruning. Gators outhit Wildcats 10-3. Ole Miss made 2 errors. Bottom 1st: Moultrie singled, scored 2 batters later on wild pitch. Gators added 2 in 2nd; Damico sac fly and SamiFagan rbi walk. The Florida 3rd just got away from the Wildcats. Second batter, Castro, belts a 2-run homer. Four batters later, bases loaded, Sami Fagan draws rbi walk, her second of the game. Haeger singles, 2 rbi. Jayjohn replaces Bruning. Coyle walks, reloading the bases; Castro jacks a grand slam. Horton scored on an error. Trailing 13-0, the Wildcats scored 3 top 4th: rbi’s by Ladner (double), Brown (sac fly) and Lindsay (single).
