MAY 16 2011 UPDATE

NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP

The championship bracket has been published on www.spysoftball.org.

Conference final standings (May 15) have been published on www.spysoftball.org.

An updated NCAA RPI will be published on Wednesday.  The May 11 RPI was published on www.spysoftball.org.

The ESPN/USA Softball and NFCA/USA Today polls will be published on this site on Tuesday.

Now that final games have been played, SPY will publish lists of all-conference teams.

SPY coverage of regionals will offer minimized game notes; under threat of death, disembowlment and other painful afflictions, SPY must attend a family reunion away from my bank of four computers, and will publish in late evenings.

THINGS WHICH MAKE US PROUD
The man in Detroit who organized a campaign to provide shelter for dozens of dogs abandoned by their owners — and kudoes to NBC for televising his effort, which attracted food, assistant helpers and $45,000 from around the country.

The grade school children in Fairfax County VA who organized a clothing drive, which reaped SUV loads of clothing for children in Alabama.

Rep Gabrielle Giffords joining other astronauts wives to watch today’s space launch — and the launch itself.

We are having a special dinner for those coaches and a social mixer for the travel team and the college coaches on Saturday.  www.legendarysoftball.com is our site for registration and information.

Memorial Day
If anyone has an 18 Gold/18U/ or quality 16U team that would like to play 3 games on Sunday, May 29th in Hemet at Diamond Valley Park in an 18 Gold Round Robin, let me know.  Cost is $300 for three games.
