BYU 4, Mississippi State 3 (9).  WP Tori Almond.  LP Kylie Vry.  BYU scored three, bottom 2^nd.  Two out, Toney scored on Dugas single.  Dugas went to 2^nd; Hicks who had singled, moved to 3^rd, both on a passed ball.  Messerschmidt singled, down the line, 2 rbi.  The Bulldogs tied with three in the 5^th; One out, Gates, Offut and Smith (rbi) singled.  The two runners advanced on a wild pitch, then scored,  3-all.  The board showed a long string of zeros until the 9^th.  Manuma walked; with one out, pinch runner Duckworth stole 2^nd; Hicks walked.  Two out, Everett doubled down the line, rbi.  Duckworth scored.

PORTLAND STATE VS #11 OREGON

#11 Oregon 7, Portland State 3.  WP Jessica Moore.  LP Anna Bertrand.  The Ducks pulled the welcome mat outfrom under their neighbors to the north, scoring 6 runs bottom 1^st.  Bottom 1^st: Pappas singled; Howard doubled; Chambers reached on a fielder’s choice, Pappas out at home.  Cuico walked, loading the bases.  Nieto hbp, rbi; Peterson singled, 2 rbi; Moore singled, rbi; two out, Takeda drove in 2 runs.  Bliss reached on a fielder’s choice, top 3^rd, Bliss scoring for PSU.  Chambers scored in the Oregon 4^th hen Peterson reached on an error.  Portland rallied in the 5^th, scoring twice.  Two out, Holladay drove in 2 runs with a double to right center.  But that was all the offense for either team.
