Solava singled with two out in 2nd for Loyola. DePaul scored its final run in the 5th. Plese singled, advanced on an error but was out at 3rd, 9-6-2. With two out, Ynguez homered. DePaul 33-15. Loyola-Chicago 19-24.

The Wolverines, who out hit WMU 11-2, scored bottom 1st: Evans reached on an error, scored on Viefhaus single. WMU tied top 2nd: Bendewald walked, Patterson singled, Tschetter walked, loading the bases, Bendewald scored on Rousseau sac fly. Michigan broke the tie with 2 runs in 3rd: Shaw walked, Chidester homered to left center, 3-1. Michigan scored 5 runs in 5th: Nemitz singled, Powers walked, with two out, Evans rbi single, Findlay hit 2-run double, Viefhaus jacked 2-run homer. 6th: Michigan reached run-rule; Shaw led off, slugging a 3-2 pitch, walkoff home run. UM 41-6. WMU 11-24.

Chinn struck out the side in the 1st. Haber led off for Stanford in the bottom with a single but was forced at 2nd by Hansen. Hansen advanced on an error (Santa Clara made 4 in the game), then scored on an error at 2nd. Koplitz opened the Stanford 3rd with a single, Rich jacked a 2-run homer. After Neill walked, Nash relieved. Pinch-runner Albers was forced at 2nd by Burns. Van Zandt cracked a 2-run homer, 5-0. Gerhart relieved Chinn to pitch the 6th. The Cardinal scored their final two runs bottom 6th. Haber reached on an error in center, scored on Hansen’s sac fly. With two out, Rich singled, scored on Hall’s rbi double. Stanford 33-14. Santa Clara 9-32.
