DePaul 2,  Illinois 0.  Blue Demons outhit Illini 8-3, and Illini committed 3 errors; still DePaul managed single runs in the 4th and 6th.  Top 4th: Ciezki and Coronado singled; advanced on Yniguez sacrifice; Braden reached on a fielder’s choice, Ciezki scored.  Two were left.  Top 6th: Coronado reached on an error, Yniguez sacrificed again, Coronado scored on Braden sac fly.  DePaul 36-11.  Illinois 24-21. 
Oklahoma 9, North Texas 1(5). 
Ricketts pitched 3 innings of no-hit ball; Gascoigne relieved, gave up 2 hits and a run.  Bottom 1st: Martinez walked, Jones singled to 3rd; one out, Ricketts jacked a 3-run homer.  One out in Sooner 2nd; Turang and Martinez singled; Jones 2-run single.  Martinez scored on obstruction by the catcher.  Two out, Ricketts walked; Williams doubled in both runners.  Poole relieved Simmons.  Top 4th: Martinez put North Texas on the board with a leadoff homer.  Oklahoma reached the run-rule margin with 2 in the bottom; Two out, Nix singled, Ricketts walked again, Allen singled, rbi, Dobbs singled, rbi. Top 5th: Barren singled; was stranded.  Oklahoma 36-16.  North Texas 22-30.  The battle for Big 12 lead will occur this weekend between Texas and Missouri. 
BYU 18,  Colorado State 5.  Final meeting as conference rivals.  Cougars racked 18 runs on 13 hits, Rams 5 runs on 5 hits.  Fitu and Duckworth homered, Fitu a grand slam.  BYU 34-15/8-1.  Colorado State 7-39/0-10.
