#1 Oklahoma def Kansas 4-2/DH Kansas wins 2-0
WP Keilani Ricketts 4H, 17K.  LP Alicia Pille.  Ricketts struck out three in the 1st, while giving up a single and walk, but hit a rough patch in the 2nd; Salamore walked, Naudin doubled, rbi; Montgomery singled, Newman walked, Ricketts struck out the next three batters.  Ricketts struck out the side in the Jayhawk 3rd, and three more in the 4th.  The Sooners took a one-run lead in the 5th; bases loaded, Casey singled, 2 rbi.  Kansas scored without a hit in the bottom; one out, Hugo struck out but reached 1st on a wild pitch; Brickey reached on an error at 3rd, Hugo scored to tie.  OU 7th: Parsons walked, Truang singled, Chamberlain flied out, Casey reached on a throwing error by Pille on a sac bunt, Pendley flied out; Ricketts singled, rbi.  Two out KU 7th, Hugo singled, the first hit off Ricketts since the 2nd but Brickey grounded out.
Game Two: WP Kelsey Kessler.  LP Michelle Gascoigne. Trailing 2-0 after 6, OU ‘s big bats ended the game on a sour note..  Turang led with a single, Chamberlain fouled out; Casey popped to 3rd; Pendley flied to center. The top five in the Sooner lineup had 2 hits. After OU stranded 2 top 1st, Jayhawks scored with 2 out; Hugo singled, Brickey doubled, rbi.  Bottom 6th: Hull doubled; Ricketts relieved Gascoigne; Brickey singled, Hull out at home on Naudin’s fielder’s choice; Salamon singled, loading the bases; Brickey scored passed ball.
#2 Tennessee upset by #11 Missouri 12-8 (6)
WP Nicole Hudson.  LP Ivy Renfroe.  Hudson prevailed despite giving up 12 hits and 2 homers.  Vols 1st: one out, Gibson homered. Mizzou came back with 2 in bottom; Crane walked, one out, Hudson homered.  Vols 2nd: one out, Gaffin doubled, Akamine singled, Lewis singled, rbi; Chavanne forced Lewis at 2nd; Gibson jacked a 3-run homer (her second HR set a new Vols record).  Vols left two.  Bottom 2nd: Bases loaded, Crane walked rbi, Genovese scored. Marston reached fielder’s choice, Hay scored; Hudson jacked a grand slam, 6 runs, 8-7 Tigers. UT tied on Shipman sac fly, but Tigers racked 4 for a 12-8 lrad.  One out, Hay slugged 2-run homer. Two out, Crane doubled, Ivy Renfroe relieved starter Ellen Renfroe. Moreton doubled, rbi. Hudson hbp; Randazzo singled, rbi.  Tennessee had one base runner the remainder of the game.  UT 43-9, 16-6. Missouri 33-10/16-8.

WP Jessica Moore  LP Tina Andreana.  Win gives Ducks share of Pac 12 regular season title .  Ducks scored 8 runs in 3rd. Takeda grand slam.  Other rbi: Pappas, Peterson, Costa and Burger.
#5 Arizona State def Arizona 7-6
WP Mackenzie Popescue.  LP Shelby Babcock.  Wildcats built 6-3 lead, knocking ASU ace Dallas Escobedo out, but Sun Devils rallied for four runs top 7th. Bottom 1st: one out, Suitos hbp; two out, Young walked, Rodriguez singled, rbi; Del Ponte doubled, 2 rbi. Top 3rd: Sun Devils tied; Kemp rbi double, Parlich single, Girard rbi single.  Arizona broke tie with three in bottom. Young walked, Rodriguez sacrificed, Del Ponte jacked a 2-run homer; Perez doubled, two out, Lavine singled, rbi; Wilson singled; Popescue relieved starter Dallas Escobedo.   UofA stranded two.  For three innings, ASU did not threaten, but top 7th, the Sun Devils found the range – and some luck. Freeman walked, Steele reached on an errorin left; Kemp struck out; Parlich singled, loading the bases; Girard doubled in 2 runs; Pinon relieved Babcock.  Caporuscio two runs scored. 7-6. Wildcats regouped and loaded bases.  One out, Rodriguez walked, Del Ponte singled, Perez grounded to 1st; Bowling walked; Lavine looked at a third strike.
#6 Texas def Oklahoma State 7-2
WP Blaire Luna 5H, 14K.  LP Kat Espinosa. Texas 1st: Washington doubled, scored on Ogle 2-out single. Texas 3rd: Thom jacked grand slam.  OSU reponded with two; Martinez rbi bunt single, Ettinger rbi single. ashington led Horns 5th with a solo. Thom doubled, scored on Bru8ins single.  Texas 43-8/13-4.  OSU 30-23/6-9.
#7 LSU upset by  #24 Georgia 10-5.
WP Morgan Montemayor in relief. LP Ashley Czechner, The question all game was whether the LSU offense could outscore its defense. After LSU stranded 2 runners top 1st, the Dawgs left bases loaded.  Bottom 2nd: Georgia scored two runs; the line score shows Olny singled, Brown sacrificed, Griffin singled, Olny was out at home when Swafford reached on a fielder’s choice; Swafford stole 2nd, Griffin stole home; Wilson doubled, rbi.  What TV viewers saw were Tiger miscues on a popup and a throwdown that failed with 2 out and a runner on 3rd. LSU tied the score on Alcaraz 2-run double top 4th.  The Tigers pulled ahead in the 5th; Hayward singled, Andrews reachewd on a fielder’s choice, Blades grounded out, Bell walked, bases loaded. Simmons hbp, rbi; Kloss singled, 2 rbi. LSU 5-2.  Georgia took one back in the bottom on Swafford’s leadoff homer.  LSU stranded 2 in 6th after Montemayor relieved.  The 5-2 lead disappeared.  Puailoa hbp; Sito flied out; Lazear in to run. Olney singled, LSU was called for interference on Lazear who would have been out on the throw.  Brpwn doubled in 2 runs, the ball escaping two LSU outfielders both diving for the hit. Griffin singled, Swafford reached on a fielding error at 3rd; pinch runner Reed scored. Georgia now led 6-5. Then Wilson, a nemesis in the first game Friday, jacked a 3-run homer.  Glasco, who was the starter for Georgia, belted a solo. Rachele Fico relieved Czechner and LSU stopped the Bulldogs, but a 5-2 lead had turned into a 10-5 deficit. But LSU refused to go quietly,  Top 7th: Bell singled but was forced by Simmons. Kloss singled; Alcaraz reached on a fielder’s choice but Simmons was out at 3rd. Wray singled, loading the bases with 2 out. Smith grounded out. 40-13. Georgia 37-18.
#8 Alabama upset by #19 Kentucky (8)
WP Kelsey Nunely  LP Leslie Jury.  The defending national champios have had a tough two weeks.  Steed opened the game with a solo shot. Top 5th: Sagemann doubled, rbi; Cumbess sac fly, Wildcats up 3-0. KU added two more before Bama rallied in the 6th.  Trailing 5-0, the Tide posted 4; bases loaded, Lafaele drew an rbi walk; Traina and Case struck out, but Richard walked, rbi; Braud hit by pitch, rbi; Iamurri singled rbi. 4 runs on 1 hit. Bottom 7th: Fitchner singled, pinch runner Davis advanced passed ball; Hunt singled, one out, Davis scored on Sewell sac fly; tied 5-all.  Top 8th: Stokes hbp; Samuel sacrifice, Steed walked, Sagemann homered, 3 rbi. Joiner followed with a solo. 9-5.  Bama 8th: Braud one-outsingle; Iamurri singled, McCleney walked, bases loaded; three runners stranded when Davis lined out, Hunt flied out.  Jury was charged with 6 runs, Traina with 3.
#9 Louisville upset by Notre Dame 3-1. Irish win Big East regular season.
WP Laura Winter  LP Rachel LeCoq.  Koerner led the Irish 1st with a single, scored with 2 out on Winter’s single.  Bottom 5th: Cards had 3 baserunners in five at-bats.  Irish Irish expanded lead; 2 out, Winter singled, Haus walked, Whidden doubled in 2 runs.  Top 7th: Keller led with a solo. Kiyohara followed with a double but was stranded. Louisville 45-10.  Notre Dame 41-12. Teams entered contest tied 18-3 each in Big East.  Irish win regular season championship and will be seeded #1 in Big East tournament. USF 2nd, Louisville 3rd.  Notre Dame has been the regular season champion in 14 of 18 Big East seasons.
#10 Michigan def Northwestern 9-3
WP Sara Driesenga  LP Amy Letourneau.  Two out, UM 1st, Romero and Blanchard walked, Romero stole 3rd, scored on error.  UM 2nd: Sweet walked, scored on Knapp’s two-out rbi. Wildcats 3rd: Letourneau jacked a 2-out, 3-run homer for the lead. UM 3rd, Blanchard 2-run homer. UM 4-3. UM 5th: Lane slugged a 3-run homer, 7-3. UM 6th, Blanchard 2-run double. 9-3. Michigan 44-9/20-2.  Northwestern 30-21/12-10.  Wildcats will be seeded fifth when Big Ten championship begins Thursday.

WP Bryana Walker.  LP Naomi Amu.  UW 1st: 2 out, Huskies loaded bases, Wright rbi single, Jones 2-run single. Bottom 1st: Fankhauser led with a triple, Hoopilaina walked, Fankhauser scored on Dickman’s fielder’s choice.  UW scored six in 2nd: Fagaly 2-run double, Inglesby ebi single, Souza 2-run double, Jones rbi single.  Fivr runs charged to reliever Nieto, Utah scored in bottom on Fawson rbi single. Huskies mexpanded lead on Lahners 3-run shot in 3rd. After a double play snuffed a Utah rally, Fawson scored on Dickman single. UW 36-14/14-7.  Utah 24-29-1/7-17.
#13 Cal def by #16 Stanford 7-5
WP Kelsey Stevens. LP Vanessa Alvarez. Rich slugged 2-run homer for Stanford lead top 1st.  Cal scored in bottom; Taylor doubled, scored on Danielle Henderson single. Ashby led the Cardinal 4th with a solo. Twoout in the bottom, Cal scored on K Taylor rbi. Top 6th, Stanford scored twice off Alvarez on error and sac fly.  Ontiveros relieved;Rich singled, 2 rbi. Down 7-2, Cal fought back, scoring 3 runs. Jones singled, scored on error, and D Henderson slugged a 2-run homer. The rally ended.  Cal 35-15. Stanford 35-17.
#14 Nebraska upset by Penn State 3-2
WP Marissa Diescher.  LP Emily Lockman. The Lady Huskers scored in the 1st on Breault sac fly, and in the 3rd when Banda singled, scored on a throwing error on Tay Edwards’ double.  Lady Lions loaded bases bottom 5th; Yao cleared them with a 3-run double. Nebraska 38-12/15-6.  Penn State 15-32/5-16.
#21 Texas A&M def Miss State 42
WP Mel Dumezich.  LP Allison Owen. South Carolina wins 10th SEC berth.  Heartbreaker for Bulldogs.   Down 1-0 in the 6th, Shape hit a two-run single to give State a 2-1 lead,  but, bottom 6th, Dumezich slugged a three-run homer. State is still hopeful of landing in the 64-team ncaa field which will be announced May 12.
#22 Arkansas def Auburn 5-0
WP Kimmy Beasley. In 4th, Amanda Gelle and Nicole Schroeder hit back-to-back homeruns, which helped Arkansas finish above .500 in SEC for the first time since 2000.  Arkansas (34-17) will face Missouri in the SEC.
