In the Blue Demons 2nd, Voss singled, Thompson walked; the runners executed a double steal; Warren slugged a 2-run double off the right field fence, and Dodd followed with an rbi single. Illinois closed the gap in the 5th. With a runner on 1st, two out, Voss committed an error; Zymkowski laced a single to left which got past Dodd for an error, both runners scoring. DePaul is 36-15. Illinois 39-6.

North Texas tied bottom 3rd; Miller walked, after two strikeouts, Martinez tripled, rbi. Sooners, who outhit North Texas 9-2, took control in the 5th. Nix singled with one out, Flores walked, Shults grounded out, Vandever singled rbi, Ricketts doubled in two runs. 4-1. OU boosted the lead with two runs top 7th. Flores reached with one out when the shortstop dropped a fly ball; Shults doubled, Vandever doubled rbi, Ricketts flied out, Shults scored on catcher error. Oklahoma 40-10. North Texas 27-18.
