East Carolina caused tension in Gator-nation, scoring a run in the bottom 7th.  Florida was up 3-2 when the inning started, and led 4-2 when Francesca Enea jacked a home run.  In the bottom, Gusman-Brown led with a homer; Clark walked; with the tying run on 2nd, Brombacher struck out Velasquez.  ECU scored bottom 1st when Merrida was hbp, scoring on Moreno’s double.  Brooks walked and scored on DeFelice’s rbi.  Walker singled and scored on Schutte’s double in the 3rd.  Merrida singled to lead the bottom half; Clark walked with two out; Brombacher relieved Erin Schuppert, and gave up an rbi to Jiminez but got out of the inning with bases loaded.  Florida 4th:  Bush singled; DeFelice doubled; Moultrie walked, loading the bases; Walker singled rbi, Paisely relieved Sutton and struck out Schutte, leaving bases loaded.  The situation held until the long-ball drama in the 7th.

Boise State rallied with a 4-run 5th to tie at 4-all but the Sooners prevailed.

Shults propelled the Sooners into the lead with a 2-run HR bottom 1st.  Jones 2-run double in the 2ndgave OU a 4-0 lead.  After Harvey singled, OU replaced Allen with Michelle Gascoigne with two outs; she gave up a double to Hill and a single to Hanna, two runs scored; Allen returned to the circle after Hanna scored; (Gascoigne was charged with 3 runs but Gametracker does not indicate how the fourth run scored).  OU regained the lead in the bottom on Vandever’s HR.  Ricketts stopped Boise State in the 6th, and the Sooners added three runs, on Nix’s home run.
