Lastrapes homered in the 2nd, followed by Chambers 2-run double. In the 3rd, Lastrapes scored on Arredondo’s rbi; Koria jacked a grand slam home run, 11-0.

Top 8th: with two out, Morrow singled home pinch runner Tovar. SDSU loaded the bases with two out but could not score.

In the 5th, after losing a run at the plate, Vandever doubled and scored on Long’s sac fly. Three more runs crossed in top 6th. when Shults hammered a 3-2 pitch for a 3-run homer.

The Vols scored twice top 1st on a throwing error and wild pitch. Watts scored for Syracuse in the bottom on Kohl’s single. UT ground out 6 runs in the 2nd; two on a catcher error; Chavanne had an rbi single; Huff rbi single; two runs on a throwing error and illegal pitch. Stung by its three errors, Syracuse got two back in the 3rd on Saco’s 2-run single off reliever Cat Hosfield. In the 5th, Watts singled, scored on Gibbs triple, 8-4. With Spigner relieving Hosfield, Syracuse loaded the bases and emerged with 2 runs on an error at short and an rbi walk, ending the game down 8-6 with the bases still loaded.

The Longhorns broke the scoring ice with Craig’s solo HR top 3rd. But that was the only hit for Texas through 6 at-bats. The Bruins jacked 3 homers in bottom 4th: solo shots by Langenfeld and Dolan, a 2-run blast by Camuso. With two out in the UCLA 5th, A. Harrison singled, Langenfeld walked, DiSalvatore slugged a 3-run homer. Bottom 6th: Yudin doubled; pinch runner Lindvall scored on Bates’ single. A Harrison singled with two out driving in Bates, 9-1. Langenfeld pitched the final inning for UCLA. Texas reliever Erin Tresselt was charged with 5 runs.

Dearborn scored on Wiggins double in the Fordham 1st. The Beavers scored twice bottom 2nd; Black led with a homer; Kutz reached on an error, scored on an error. Two home runs for Mandy Urfer and a 4-4 performance by Katelyn Boyd highlighted the Sun Devils offense, which won bottom 8th: Rogers singled, Boyd walked; both moved on a sac bunt by Donnenwirth; Lockwood, who had homered earlier, drew a pass to load the bases; Goodman singled home the winner. Elliott started and was charged with the Bulls five runs including a homer by Alexis Nowell. Bach pitched the last three innings and gave up the tying runs in the 7th. A slugfest: ASU had 15 hits, South Florida 10.
