CSF took a 5-4 lead in th 4th on Anderson’s two-out, two run double. In the 5th, Aragon reached on an error, scored on Tsuchiyama’s triple. The Titans put the game away in the 6th with Anderson’s 2-run home run to left center.

Nieten drove in the Wesley sisters in a 3-run 3rd. Donna Kerr relieved Macon to pitch the 4th. Nieten homered in the 5th. UCLA found its stroke in the 6th; DiSalvatore singled, Burney doubled, both scored on Dolan’s one-out homer. Baylor padded its 5-3 lead with scores by Vannatta and Walker, top 7th. Andrea Harrison and Langenfeld slugged back-to-back HRs but no more.

The Longhorns scored the eventual game winner in the 5th; Schmidt singled, stole 2nd, and scored on a wild pitch.
