JUDI GARMAN TOURNAMENT
Purdue 12, New Mexico 4
WP Suzie Rzegocki LP Samantha Gatson. Jenna Alexandra 2-run HR.
Purdue 10, CS Fullerton 4
WP Erika Petruzzi. LP Ari Cervantes. Fullerton continues 12-game losing streak. Ashley Courtney 2-rbi.
Purdue hitting was impressive both games, but equally impressive was their foot-speed and base running skills, taking an extra base to move into scoring position in both games. Also notable was their running out plays they knew were coming back — called hustle and discipline.

#8 Oklahoma 4, CS Northridge 1 (8)
WP Keilani Ricketts. LP Amanda Pizenberger.
For 7 innings, game seemed like a repeat of Game 1, neither team able to sustain a challenge, and entered extra innings tied 1-1. Perhaps the sting of losing to the unranked Matadors sparked the Sooners. Top 8th: Flores, who had homered in the 1st, reached on an error, and scored the tie-breaker. Jones and Dobbs rbi singles. After Mosler walked to open the bottom, Ricketts shut down the Matadors.
