Suncats Gold were 3-1-1 for the weekend on top of a 3-1-1 weekend at the Batbuster Tournament, under new coach Rick Beach.

 

Tulsa Eagles at America’s Finest City

We sent our 6' 3" pitcher Hillary Bach to Ernie Parker in Memphis.  In the 2 tournament we have played this fall she has not given up a run. 25.00-IP, 97-BAT, 5-BB, 6-SOL, 28-SOS  In the San Diego Renegades tournament this past weekend, Bach beat The Next Level 1-0, Corona Angel 2-0, and Fresno Force 3-0.

Michelle Zakozek (08) led off the top of the 5th with a two out single up the middle, followed by Ashley Pulidos (2010) single to right field.  Lauren Tuey (08) followed with a run scoring single to right field.  Cesley Tafoya (08) led off the top of the  6th with a single to rightfield and scored on a double in the rightcenter field gap by Teresa Conrad (2009).  Brittany Puildo (unsigned 07) threw a four hitter with  six strikeouts.  Cesley Tafoya 2 for 2 with a walk, two singles and a stolen base

 

Shilos 1 Mizuno Pride 0

 

Each team collected three hits in the 6 inning pitchers duel. The Shilos scored the lone run in the top of the fifth.  Hannah-Rose Peters (unsigned 07) walked and Sarah Patrick (08) promptly followed with a towering triple to left field for the only score of the game. Other hits came from Jamie Coe (unsigned 07) and Hannah-Rose Peters (unsigned 07). Brittany Pulido (07) collected the win, while Ashley Pulido (2010) recorded the save.

 

Shilos 5 Sting 5

 

The Shilos scored 7 runs in the top of the 5th inning for a 12-5 lead.  However, with a drop dead time limit, the game reverted back to the 4th inning with the score tied 5-5.  Cesley Tafoya (08) was 2 for 3 with two singles a walk and an RBI; Courtney Krueger (unsigned 07) was 1 for 2 with a triple scoring two runs, Hannah-Rose Peters (07) 2 for 3 with three runs scored, triple, single and walk; Sarah Patrick (08) 1 for 2 with a two run homerun.

 

Shilos 2 Panthers 0

 

Brittany Pulido (07) started the game and pitched 3 scoreless innings. Hannah-Rose Peters  (07) collected the win in relief pitching two scoreless innings.  The Shilos scored all of the runs they would need in the bottom of the 5th inning.  Bryanna Hardy (08) led off the inning with a triple to rightfield. Michelle Zakosek (08) followed with a two out walk. With runners on the corners Hardy and Zakosek executed a double steal.  Zakosek was brought in on a two out single by Jamie Coe (07) for the games only scoring.

 

Rowdies 5 Shilos 2

 

The game was stopped in the bottom of the inning with a runner in scoring position.  Jamie Coe (07) was 2 for 3 with a single, double and RBI.  Bryanna Hardy ( 08) was 1 for 1 with a triple.
