With the No. 16 Tennessee Lady Vol softball team clinging to a 3-2 lead in the top of the seventh inning on a cold and blustery Saturday night at the NTC Division I Elite Invitational in Clermont, Fla., UCF strung together a clutch one-out, four-run rally on the way to posting a 6-3 come-from-behind upset win.

UT sophomore pitcher Cat Hosfield took the defeat in the circle to drop to 0-2 on the young season.  The Murfreesboro, Tenn., native equaled her career-high with 10 strikeouts, while allowing five earned runs on 10 hits during a complete-game effort.  Ashley Cole WP.

AUSTIN, Texas – Texas freshman righthander Blaire Luna tossed her second complete game in as many days and fanned 17 batters to lead Texas to a 4-1 win over No. 20 DePaul, Saturday night in the semifinals of the Time Warner Cable Texas Invitational.  Texas advances to play LSU in the tournament championship at 12:30 p.m. Central on Sunday, Feb. 14.

TEMPE, Ariz. - In a re-match of the 2008 NCAA Championship Series, offensive 
firepower spelled the story with two home runs apiece with the 
grand slam from Katelyn Boyd giving the Sun Devils the edge while Megan Elliott pitched the win for ASU as they took a 10-4 win from the Aggies to push their season to 4-1 overall and Elliott's record to 2-1.The Aggies drew first blood; Rhiannon Kliesling launched a three run shot to center field with the first pitch. Boyd answered with a grand slam.  Leading 7-3, ASU got a 3-4un shot from Christina Zambrana.

TEMPE, Ariz. – The fifth-ranked Sun Devil Softball team returned to form on

Friday afternoon with some two-out lightning as they scored 11 of their 28 runs on the day with two outs on the board as they topped Portland State 14-0 and Auburn 14-2, both in five innings, to close out Day Two of the Kajikawa Classic. Hillary Bach collected a one-hit complete game shutout against the Vikings to go 2-0 on the season while Megan Elliott won the nightcap to push her record to 1-1 as ASU finishes Day Two with a 3-1 overall record.
